n the spectacular terrace of Victoria Garten´s private estate – with stunning views over the bays of Pollensa and Alcúdia – the selfmade entrepreneur gives us a warm welcome. Not only the bay of Pollensa lies in front of us, but also her five-acre vineyard. The lifelong dream of Victoria, also called Vica, is realized. Vica is not an amateur winemaker. This quickly becomes clear in conversation. Well structured, clear and full of enthusiasm, she´s talking about her plans. In Germany she´s already set up her own online shop for wines. And she´s opened a wine tasting location at Düsseldorf´s ‘Medienhafen’. The construction plans for a new winery in Binissalem have been filed and the five acres of vines have been expanded to eleven acres. Earlier this year, another 17 acres of vines were planted. Surely the project will not stop here. The cooperation with Hotel Son Brull, for which she creates a special rosé,

n la espectacular terraza de la finca de Victoria Garten con vistas impresionantes a la bahía de Pollensa y Alcudia, la emprendedora nos recibe con una gran sonrisa. No solo vemos la bahía de Pollensa, sino también cinco hectáreas de viñedo que pertenece a esta finca. El sueño de toda la vida de Victoria, también llamada ‘Vica’, se ha cumplido. ‘Vica’ no es una enóloga aficionada. Esto queda rápidamente en evidencia durante nuestra conversación. Con una estructura clara, ideas fijas y muchísimo entusiasmo nos cuenta sus planes para el futuro. Ya ha establecido su tienda online de vinos para Alemania. Y, además, ha inaugurado su primera tienda de cata de vinos en Medienhafen, Düsseldorf. Los planos para una nueva construcción en Binissalem ya han sido presentados y las cinco hectáreas de viñedos se han expandido a once. Nicht nur die Bucht von Pollensa liegt einem hier zu Füßen, sondern auch der hauseigene fünf Hektar große Weinberg. Ein Lebenstraum, den sich Viktoria, auch Vica genannt, verwirklicht hat. Dass Vica keine Hobbywinzerin ist, wird im Gespräch schnell klar. Strukturiert, klar und voller Enthusiasmus erzählt sie über ihre Pläne. So hat sie bereits in Deutschland einen eigenen Onlineshop für Weine aufgebaut und ein erstes Lokal für Weinverköstigung im Medienhafen von Düsseldorf eröffnet. Die Baupläne für eine neue Bodega in Binissalem sind eingereicht und die fünf Hektar Weinland wurden bereits auf elf Hektar erweitert.
