An Emotive skin, a skin which responds to the dynamics of human activities. It’s a surface which engages with the space through movements and changes spatial experiences. Majorly the experience transforms an open space to semi-open to semi enclosed and somewhat enclosed depending on the activity. Specifically, at present the dining activity or the group activities like meeting, eating, reading and group working environments etc., remains very much dead and non-interactive. So, this interactive overhead, varies with height as well as width and lengths with respect to activities. All these variables depend on the sensing human behavior. This skin can also be used a light source depending on the seating arrangement.
Hence emotive skin can easily convert and control our dead overheads in the spaces as per our requirements or behaviours which results in changing the spatial experience from open to enclosed and vice versa.
