BILSTEIN WINS MULTIPLE READER POLLS The company has been recognised for its suspension technology and shock absorbers Success on the race track can be measured by lap times, but in other respects the benchmarks for success are difficult to define. The reader polls of various publishers are an important indicator, says Bilstein, and in 2019 the company once again won several titles in important categories. The latest addition to the trophy cabinet is “The Best Brands of All Time” award from the German car magazine “Auto Bild.” In the “Sports suspensions” category, 62.77 percent of the readers voted for Bilstein, while the best competitor only achieved 37.23 percent. The shock absorber experts also set another benchmark when it came to the 27th Sport Auto Award. In that poll, 12,352 people chose their favourite brands from 19 categories and Bilstein was ranked as the Best Brand with 70.2 percent in the “Shock absorbers” category. That was already the 13th victory in a row and Bilstein was even able to improve its previous result – the company also made it to the top of the podium in the “Sports suspensions” segment, where 65.7 percent of reader votes underscored a clear victory. The complete result can be read in “Sport Auto” issue 12/2019, which was published on the 22nd of November 2019.

Bilstein says it was also once again featured in the lavish coffee-table book “German standards – Brands of the century” in 2019. The book from the renowned “Die Zeit” publishing group covers 200 popular and outstanding German brands, which were chosen according to a demanding qualification process. Good news has also come from Switzerland with the “Auto Illustrierte” magazine asking their readers to choose the “Best of Brands” from 433 companies and 16 categories. In the “Suspension” segment, Bilstein was victorious with 21.30 percent of the vote with the next best company achieving less than 11 percent of the votes. In the “Auto Zeitung Top Brand 2019” poll, 26 percent of readers of the “Auto Zeitung” magazine ranked Bilstein first in the “Sports suspensions” category which resulted in the award of the “Golden Top Brands 2019” seal. The German suspension specialist says it was thus able to leave all its well-known competitors behind. In the “Best Brands” reader poll for “Auto Motor Und Sport,” which took place for the 14th time and is reportedly regarded as one of the most

prestigious brand awards, 68.3 percent of readers were convinced by Bilstein sports suspensions, leading to a first place in the coveted category. Fans of classic cars also rely on Bilstein with this shown by the vote for “Best Brand” in the “Suspension” category by the readers of “Motor Klassik” and Bilstein says the racing scene loves its products too with the results of the latest reader poll published by the “Motorsprot Aktuell” racing magazine firmly underlining this. Here, Bilstein became the Best Brand in the categories of “Sports suspensions” (64.2 percent) and “Coilover suspensions” (52.3 percent). Bilstein would like to express its sincere thanks for the numerous votes and the great trust. It says that of course, the company will not rest on its laurels and will continue to do its best on the road and on the racetrack. For more information, visit www.bilstein.com.au
