Working in your Community - December 2021 OUR WORKS AT 1 GOLDEN LANE Who are KpH Deconstruction? KpH are a specialist Strip Out and Enabling Contractor operating in London and The South East. We often work within buildings that are occupied or have neighbours (be that residential or commercial) in close proximity. Typically, the types of work we undertake are the complete Strip Out of buildings back to core, removal of walls, suspended ceilings and partitions, uplifting floor screed, concrete cutting/sawing and structural demolition and dismantling. It is not possible to carry out works without it producing some noise, and whilst we take all necessary measures to mitigate this, we understand that there may likely be some disruption. Our KPH operatives have experience working in close proximity to neighbouring properties such as this and understand the need to be considerate to their surroundings. Please be assured that we take every step possible to ensure this is kept to a minimum and utilise various tools and techniques to achieve that goal.

The Works KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd are undertaking a phase of Strip Out and Deconstruction at 1 Golden Lane. It is expected that our works will complete at the end of March 2022. The following works have been planned:
Soft strip of materials internally to the building.
Waste clearance.
Removal of finishes to terraces
Noise monitoring will be undertaken throughout the duration of our works and is constantly reviewed to ensure that is remains compliant with The City of London regulations. Our Hours on site are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm (albeit operatives will arrive from 7.30am for registration and inductions. Saturday from 8am– 2pm, albeit work will not commence until 9am. We have arranged for deliveries to site to be scheduled after 8am to mitigate any early morning disturbance to our residential neighbours. Waste is to be removed via skips and KpH cage vans. We propose to remove two first floor windows over the ramp on Viscount Street as indicated on the drawing. A gantry with a walk through will be erected below and waste will be loaded directly into the skip lorry on a wait and load basis by trained operatives in a safe and efficient manner. Temporary doors with locks will be installed where windows are removed.
