« Cette médaille, c’est la reconnaissance d’un travail et d’une persévérance après toutes ces années de galères et de blessures. Après Sotchi, j’ai remis en cause beaucoup de choses.

Afin d’être le meilleur, j’ai analysé toutes mes forces et mes faiblesses et j’ai fait appel à des préparateurs, mental et physique.

Le jour de la course, je me sentais en très bonne forme. J’ai mis en place tout ce qu’on avait préparé à l’entraînement, sans pression. Mon run était millimétré. Je savais que j’allais y arriver.

Depuis Sotchi, je cours avec l’idée de m’éclater, je privilégie le plaisir du ski et la liberté d’expression.

Mon quotidien n’a pas changé depuis la médaille. Je suis bien sûr plus sollicité mais je continue à prendre du temps pour moi, à regarder des films.

Nox Brockly et Hugo Morilla ont un pouvoir, celui de vous faire danser ! Ces DJ officient en binôme et mettent le feu à La Folie Douce tous les aprèsmidis. Qui sont-ils ?

« Nous avons la chance de vivre de notre passion, notre hobby c’est notre vie », lancent en cœur Benoît aka Nox, ingénieur du son & DJ manager de 38 ans et son jeune acolyte Hugo, 24 ans. Avant d’ambiancer La Folie Douce de Saint-Gervais/Megève, Nox a passé 9 années aux platines de La Folie Douce de Val d'Isère : « j'ai connu les débuts lorsqu'on jouait avec des platines vinyle qui ne résistent jamais aux variations de températures, au vent et à la neige ! ».

Hugo a passé une saison en 2012 avec Nox à Val d’Isère avant de prendre les commandes de Méribel. Les deux compères se retrouvent cet hiver : « nous élaborons nos sets à 4 mains. Notre exigence artistique est d’être loin de toutes les musiques commerciales dont les radios nous abreuvent à longueur de journée. C’est dans la house, la tech house et quelquefois dans la techno que nous puisons notre inspiration. Notre seule conduite musicale, c’est l’esprit de fête et de bonne humeur ».
