increasing the market share in the international offshore market Dresser-Rand Products - centrifugal and reciprocating gas compressors, gas and steam turbines, gas expanders, gas and diesel engines, and associated control panels - are used in oil and gas production, high-pressure field injection and oil recovery, gas liquefaction, gas transmission, refinery processes, natural gas processing, petrochemical production, general industry (including paper, steel, sugar, and distributed power), power generation, and military applications. Our custom-engineered products are also used in other advanced applications in the environmental markets we serve, where they increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprint.
These include, among others, hot gas turboexpanders for energy recovery in refineries; co- and tri-generation combined heat and power (CHP) packages for institutional and other clients; and a large number of steam turbine applications to generate power using steam produced by recovering exhaust heat from a multitude of sources. Biomass and biogas applications for our steam turbine product line include gasification of municipal solid waste or incineration of wood, palm oil, sugar, or pulp and paper residues to generate power. Our equipment is used in compressed air energy storage (CAES) for utility-sized power generation that is environmentally friendly and provides unique grid management features.
Dresser-Rand Norway is the center of excellence for gas turbines at Dresser-Rand. At our Kongsberg Operations, we design and develop gas turbines and design complete generator and compressor packages with gas turbines as drivers. Our service personnel support installations, startup and maintenance of gas turbine packages all around the world. The gas turbine product range includes our own design 2 MW KG series gas turbines and General Electric’s LM series of gas turbines in the 20 to 60 MW range. These highly advanced machines focus on high efficiency, long time reliability and adhere to strict emissions requirements, especially NOx, CO, CO2, and noise. We supply complete machinery packages with gas turbines driving generators for power generation and gas turbines driving compressors used in oil and gas production, and for gas transmission. The GT packages integrate the GT and the driven machinery on a common structure with all the support systems, including gas and diesel fuel control system, lubrication systems, start system, fire and gas monitoring, and fire-fighting system, etc. For each project, Dresser-Rand Kongsberg Operation establishes a team with a dedicated project manager, planner, purchasers, QA/QC personnel, cost controller, manufacturing supervisor, test engineers, and specialist engineers, that cover each discipline.
At our Kongsberg facility, we also design, program, manufacture, and test control panels to operate and monitor Dresser-Rand and other OEM GT packages. Our specialists support and participate in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of the GT packages at locations in Norway and Korea. The large number of units installed and operating provides opportunities and business to Kongsberg for modification and upgrade of these units to the latest technologies and standards. Global Presence - We have approximately 8,100 employees and provide a wide array of products and services to our worldwide client base from our global locations. Our worldwide client base consists of oil and gas producers and distributors, national oil companies, and chemical and industrial companies in more than 150 countries. We have alliance agreements with more than 50 of our clients. Dresser-Rand Group Inc. is a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The MAP is a multiyear rotational program designed to develop high potential individuals for future leadership positions within Dresser-Rand. Our program provides a diverse set of experiences through challenging rotational assignments that give you a more robust post-college career
experience. In addition, it provides technical and leadership training, advanced education, leadership opportunities, and mentoring. We have programs for engineers (EMAP) and finance professionals (FMAP).
eMAP – five-year rotational program EMAPs can perform in applications engineering, project engineering, product design engineering, manufacturing engineering, technical support, and field service.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing).
• Willingness and ability to travel and relocate. The first three years will be comprised of one- year rotations, the remaining two years are typically the discipline of focus as to where you will begin your career.
FMAP – three-year rotational program FMAPs can perform in treasury, internal audit, corporate accounting (including SEC reporting and controls), and operations accounting, which includes forecasting and budgeting.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of 21 hours of accounting courses.
• Willingness to travel and relocate (generally move twice).
• Two Accounting-focused internships, cooperative education experience or 1-3 years prior relevant work experience.
