I am a junior from Thomas Jefferson University and I will recieve a Bachelors of Architecture when I graduate in 2027. I am from Eastern Shore, Maryland but I currently reside in Philadelphia, PA for my studies. I am most passionate about the storytelling of architecture and how I can bring ideas and feelings to life. I am currently looking for an summer internship, but would enjoy experiencing any aspects of architecture and getting to be hands on!

FALL 24
PROF. DAVID GAMBA
The Non-Profit Organization Prevention Point Philadelphia has expanded to Francisville due to genetrification. Through my research group we concluded that due to the opioid crisis in Philadelphia this area is in risk of having these potential problems due to overall survival stress. PPP stands to help though in harm reduction instead of aiming to remove drugs completely. This new building will provide a place to stimulate mental health of a community of people fighting against drug abuse.

HOUSE OF PEACE
SPRING 24
PROF. IVANO D’ANGELLA
Glendinning Rock Garden in Philadelphia serves as a serene retreat for reconnecting with nature, inspiring the need for a space that challenges one’s way of thinking. The House of Peace utilizes the dynamic interplay of expansive and contractive architectural elements, along with light, to encourage individuals to confront and question their sense of comfort.

Located on the outskirts of Glendinning Rock Garden in Philadelphia, you can find Selenovision. A beckon in which you can see a direct view of the moon and are able to measure where it is in the sky. This building was made to feel like a funnel, open at the top and condensed at the base. Pushing the building into the site allows for this to not just be a beckon, but also a hidden gem.
ICE CREAM SANDWICH FOR MORGAN
FALL 23
PROF. RAY BRACY
Reimagining North Philadelphia rowhomes, this project explores the needs of a multigenerational home designed for a four-year-old with a love of ice cream. Inspired by the structure of an ice cream sandwich, the essential spaces of the home serve as the “cookie” layers, providing stability and function, while the heart of the home is represented by the “ice cream” at its core.

CABIN PROJECTS
SPRING 23-SPRING 25
PROF. CAROL HERMANN AND PROF. VICTOR PEDRAZA
At Thomas Jefferson University one thing we do for quick projects is cabins. Working at a scale like this but given endless possibilities for concept, aesthetic, and so much more each cabin project focuses in on a new skill such as learning how public vs. private works or even just new rendering softwares.

A retreat hidden deep in the pines of Mohawk Trial State Park Forest acts as a hideaway to reconnect with nature that has returned a mysterious feel as the sun and clouds set in.
FALL 22-SPRING 24
Throughout my time at Jefferson I have been able to enhance not only my building knowledge, but also how I capture my focuses. In Technics we have learning how basic framing and walls are layered together to create a whole. I also took a film photography class to learn how to use the eye of the camera and the right moment for a shot. Each of these projects taught me patience and understanding in different ways.
