EDITOR’S DESK: A NEW YEAR OF HOPE AND PURPOSE
BY MICHELLE N MOHAMMED
I want to take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God and His faithfulness throughout the past year Each season brought its share of challenges and blessings, but through it all, we were reminded of the unshakable truth: God is with us.
This year, let us embrace the theme of renewal and purpose
Whether it's deepening our faith, serving our community, or drawing closer to one another as a church family, we are called to press forward with hope and determination. Philippians 3:13-14 encourages us to “forget what lies behind and strain

forward to what lies ahead, pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” What a powerful reminder to keep our eyes fixed on Him!
In this issue, you’ll find articles that speak to our lives; a relational comic; stories of transformation, and ways to get in contact with us. My prayer is that this newsletter will inspire and encourage you to live boldly for Christ this year.
Let’s step into 2025 together, with hearts full of faith and hands ready to serve May we be a light to our community and a reflection of His love

A MESSAGE FROM OUR APOSTLE
"STEPPING BOLDLY INTO 2025: RENEWED FAITH, FRESH HOPE, UNSHAKEABLE TRUST"
BY APOSTLE MASCELLINE WYATT

APOSTLE MASCELLINE WYATT
As we enter a new year, let us pause and reflect on the faithfulness of God in the year that has passed Through every trial, triumph, and challenge, He has been our constant guide, our rock, and our hope. As we look forward to the year ahead, let us step into it with hearts full of expectation, knowing that God is already at work in our lives. With every new beginning, God invites us to renew our hearts, minds, and spirits This is a time for fresh hope, renewed faith, and unshakeable trust in His promises.
It is a new opportunity to draw closer to Him, to seek His wisdom, and to be the light He has called us to be in this world Let us resolve to extend love and kindness to those around us, and serve with renewed passion and purpose
In this coming year, let us walk boldly in the light of Christ. Let us be a people of prayer, compassion, and service As we face new opportunities and challenges, let us remember that the God who was faithful yesterday will be faithful today and tomorrow.

May 2025 be a year where we deepen our relationship with Him and with one another. We are called to be a beacon of hope, joy, and peace in a world that so desperately needs it May we embrace every moment, trusting that with God by our side, all things are possible. Let us press forward with courage, knowing that each day holds the potential for growth, transformation, and the unfolding of God's perfect plan for our lives
SPEAK GOD’S WORD

BY PASTOR GILLIAN DRAKES-PRESCOD
“For the word of God is living and powerful.”
Words have the power to influence people either to do good or bad. They have the power to heal you or to make you sick. Our words are powerful; what we speak determines how our lives pan out. In Isaiah 55:11, God says, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” When preached, the Word has the divine power to bring salvation, when spoken over sickness and disease it can bring healing; it brings deliverance from spiritual problems. When spoken over the various situations in our lives, circumstances change, hope springs forth and our souls are refreshed. We receive strength and encouragement to continue on in this journey of life.
To speak God's word effectively, we must know it deeply. Regular study, meditation and reading of Scripture help us internalize God’s truth. When we are familiar with God’s word, when we hide it in our hearts, it naturally flows out of us in conversations, prayers, and actions. How do we meditate on God’s Word? For example, Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.” But what does this mean? Examine the verse God promised to supply everything you need. What do you need? Finances? Help to restore a broken relationship? Wisdom to make a certain decision? God will provide it all. Think about the verse, personalize it, speak it out over and over again Let it become a part of you and watch the manifestation of those things in your life.
The spoken Word of God empowers your faith and causes it to grow. Target the problem areas in your life and watch change take place. Speak the Word when you have doubt, when you are tempted to worry, when you are fearful, when it seems like things are not working out. The Word destroys the plans of the enemy over your lives and creates confusion in his camp When Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness (Matthew 4: 1-11), He responded to every temptation by declaring “It is written” and quoted the relevant scripture. The devil had no choice but to back away. That is the power of the spoken Word of God.
So in this new year, speak God’s Word over your life and the lives of your loved ones; over every situation and circumstance and see the transformation that will take place

TESTIMONY CORNER
Praise God, everyone in my car came out with only
minor bruises I know this was the hand of God at work. He saved my life and that of the other occupants and I give Him All the Honour, All the Glory and All the Praise. Thank you, Jesus!!!
I want to thank my loving, faithful heavenly Father for His protection over me in 2024, especially during the early hours of September 14th. God protected me from sure death and serious injury
On that night, I was driving from Longdenville to Chaguanas with two other persons in the vehicle. I was on the main road driving along in my lane, when, on reaching an intersection where two roads crossed each other, a car suddenly swung out around a corner, and onto my lane The car was on my lane!!! heading
straight towards me!!! I could not stop suddenly because of the speed at which I was driving. However, I tipped the brakes and pulled a little to the right This prevented a head on crash, but the out-of-control car hit the passenger door, and I lost control of my car which immediately flipped over
Praise God, everyone in my car came out with only minor bruises I know this was the hand of God at work. He saved my life and that of the other occupants and I give Him All the Honour, All the Glory and All the Praise Thank you, Jesus!!!
