The building itself is very beautiful, with white walls and special onions domes, and with all the finishes and used materials. the mosque design and spaces arrangements has the power to isolate the outside noise and with the maximised opennings the natural ventilation is good, lack of shading devices or strategy. backyard landscape and facilities take you through the history will enjoying the confluence of the river of life







The architectural acoustic is well done achieved, and as an urban strategies the LRT station is perfectly serving the area espicially during the Friday prayers and the public events or to anyone who wants to come to Pusat Bandaray.

And to me, Masjid Jameek is A place that retains the old appearance of Malaysia as soon as you get off the train or any other vehicle, you can feel the grandeur of old Malaysia.

Peranakan House had once served as the residence and office of Kapitan Cina Chung Keng Kwee. Though not a Baba himself, his Chinese courtyard house was much like a typical large Baba home of eclectic style, incorporating Chinese carved-wood panels and English floor tiles and Scottish ironworks. Having survived the many decades of neglect and decay, the mansion has now been restored to its former glory of a stately home.
















Masjid Daerah Timur Laut (Masjid Terapung), Penang Island
My first time entered this floating mosque and my smile and greetings were reciprocated with warm smile of the staff in attendance. The praying hall is open to public and you can hear your echo even when you talk. The Mihrab is intricately decorated and so as the windows, ceiling.

Masjid Zahir, Alor Setar
Masjid Zahrah. It is the state mosque of Kedah. Located strategically in the heart of Alor Setar the mosque’s design reflects the Islamic ruling tradition of Kedah’s royalty, where buildings were designed with distinctive characters of lavish Moghul and Moorish architecture. Although the mosque is overwhelmingly decorated with the use of Mughal and Moorish architectural characteristics, Masjid Zahir was designed with a tropical climatic consideration.
