CREATIVE LINES
Music is created when there is an organization of sounds, as vibrations, that are put together to form an audible composition. Elements of a musical composition include harmony, timbre, melody, and rhythm. Music and sound created by the voice and/or instruments have played an important role in various cultures on all continents of the globe making it a universal feature of humanity. The combination of music and culture has been around for thousands of years and for many cultures, an essential way of life. With its presence being so prominent throughout the centuries it is likely here to stay. Music may not be solely auditory but may also have extensions into various other fields, notably architecture. Similar to how musical notes tie into one another to form a beautiful melody, architecture can be created with certain shapes which complement each other and create a sort of music “frozen in time”. In many ways music and architecture are similar in principle.
