STEP 7: Approval from Chapter Chair & Membership Officer— Chapter Chair and Membership Officer reviews all documentation and notes from interviews and determines if prospect is a good fit for the chapter. Invitation to join is offered. The Membership Chair sets up a meeting with applicant and sponsor (if applicable).
STEP Paperwork Collection is sent chapter specific paperwork. All paperwork (chapter questionnaire, org chart, bio or cv) must be completed and returned to Chapter Manager before moving on to the next stage. Chapter information and events are sent to applicant for reference.

STEP Chapter Peer Assessment is the chapter’s opportunity to assess the applicant’s fit for the chapter.
