YWCA GOLDEN GATE SILICON VALLEY’S Inspire Luncheon is a fundraising event that has earned its reputation as one of the most powerful non-profit events in the Silicon Valley. Join us for the 35th Annual Luncheon.
The goal of the event is to deepen the engagement of YWCA supporters, raise funds for YWCA programs and services, and raise awareness about societal issues at the intersection of race, gender and violence. Each year, Your YWCA welcomes an influential guest speaker who is an advocate and ambassador for change. Past speakers have included Ruby Bridges, Shiza Shahid, Susan Rice, Gloria Steinem, Jane Goodall, Geena Davis, Sally Ride, Janet Reno, Benazir Bhutto, Anita Hill and Tarana Burke.

AMANDA NGUYEN
Amanda Nguyen is an activist and astronaut. She will become the first Vietnamese woman to go to space when she flies on an upcoming Blue Origin launch on the New Shepard rocket. Amanda’s activism focuses on the intersection of race and gender. She ignited the Stop Asian Hate movement and passed sexual assault survivor rights in the United States and United Nations through her work at Rise. For her work she was nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize and is a 2022 TIME Woman of the Year.

Volunteers make the Luncheon flow! Your partnership helps us take care of volunteers who are giving hours of their time to help set up, run, and clean up the event.
