Friends call a time out for football For Braden River High students Cody Chen, 16, Eric Chen, 17, and Jordan Nguyen, 18, (above) holiday break calls for fun outside with friends. They do not play on the football team, but that doesn’t stop them from throwing the ball around at Summerfield Park. Nguyen said in this day and age, there are a lot of different ways to hang out with friends, especially with the increase in technology. However, he still prefers to spend time in person because it feels more real and genuine. Cody Chen said they had finished their midterm exam in chemistry, and this was a fun way to celebrate. “Now we are rewarding ourselves with football,” Nguyen said.
