LUCAS VAN VUUREN ON RECORD It’s pretty impressive when you look at the big brands you were up against in the recent International Property Awards. How do you think you were able to compete? Being the new kid on the block, we had to integrate a big plan with a limited budget. We combined the wits of staff members, our available budget and resources, and by burning the midnight oil. We didn’t have a benchmark against which to compare so we did everything in-house and kept our fingers crossed! I’m extremely proud that we received this recognition on an international platform as our brand is barely 18 months old. I love that we competed with both national and international brands with deep pockets, from all over Africa and the Middle East, some with track records of more than 30 years.

Multiple layouts and features were designed, changed, discarded, and tweaked until we felt that we had a winning recipe. We poured our hearts and souls into the branding

iSiKolo and Intern students donate funds to CANSA At iSiKolo – School of Learning we realise that, as a blessed and responsible training company, we have to consider the interest of society by becoming socially involved. One of iSiKolo’s owners (and founder), Salma le Roux, lost her mother to cancer in October this year and a corporate decision was made to, from now on, donate funds to CANSA in October every year. Our Intern Agent class of November (seen in the photo) also pitched in, as a percentage of their enrolment fees contributed to the donation. Juanine Jackson –Community Mobilisor, Fund Development of Cansa- received the cheque and gave the Intern Agents an insight into Cansa’s activities and the support they offer to cancer patients and their families.

Our next project will be to donate funds to Fisantekraal Animal Welfare - where our trainer Charlene Kennedy is a volunteer. Every student that enrols for our January Full Intern Training course will contribute to this cause. We would like to thank all the agents and principals that supported us in 2016 and wish everyone a Happy Festive Season!
