FAIR & COMPETITIVE PAY We have a clear and transparent pay structure, and believe in paying a fair salary for a fair days work, competitive in the local market. We regularly benchmark our salaries and have invested significantly since 2020.

PENSION & FINANCIAL ADVICE The Fresh Futures pension scheme is provided by The People’s Pension, and all Fresh Futures employees are automatically enrolled into this scheme.

We operate a tax efficient salary exchange scheme whereby - subject to meeting certain criteria - we will contribute 3% of your earnings, whilst you contribute 5% of your basic salary.

We also offer free, confidential pension and financial advice from an external company, plus a Christmas Savers Scheme whereby employees can save any amount of their monthly salaries into a Christmas pot, and receive it in November's pay day.

HEALTH & WELLBEING SUPPORT Every Fresh Futures employee has free access to our Employee Assistance Programme. The EAP is designed to help you plus your partners and dependents manage personal and professional problems that are affecting your home and work life, health, and general wellbeing.

This includes:

Access to a 24/7 confidential helpline, and counselling services delivered in various ways (E.G. phone and video consultations and online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions.

Legal guidance for matters such as will writing, financial and housing concerns, and divorce procedures.

Access to a health and wellbeing portal which offers tools such as self-help programmes, fitness & lifestyle advice and coaching.

EMPLOYEE FORUM Fresh Futures Employee Forum is made up of elected representatives from across all of the Fresh Futures departments.

The forum meet four times per year to give feedback, develop initiatives and share ideas directly with the charity's CEO. The forum has two specific focuses: 1) Develop the charity in line with the needs and ideas identified by the Fresh Futures team (external) 2) Make Fresh Futures a better place to work (internal)

BIKE 2 WORK As part of the Government’s Green Transport Plan, Fresh Futures have signed up to Bike 2 Work, offering the opportunity to save up to 43.25% on the cost of a bicycle and/or cycling equipment.

This is made possible by saving on Income Tax and NI contributions when spreading the cost over monthly, interest-free payments via salary sacrifice.

TRAINING, COACHING & DEVELOPMENT Investing in our people is key to our success and we provide many development opportunities through coaching, mentoring and training.

We have an annual training and development budget and provide leadership and management training, as well as arranging role specific training.

SOCIAL EVENTS There's no doubt that everyone at Fresh Futures works really hard to 'Improve Lives and Inspire Change' for our communities; so it's really important that there's opportunity to relax and socialise with colleagues, too.

Here at Fresh Futures we arrange plenty of social events for our people to come along to. This includes an annual 'Summer Social' at a hired venue (that is also open to the family members), team bonding days, and lots of festive parties and in-house events, too!
