CEO FRAN GALATTI SELECTED FOR GOVERNOR’S ADVISORY COUNCIL

We are so excited to share with you all that Governor Newsom has appointed our very own Fran Gallati to serve on the newly formed Advisory Council for Physical Fitness and Mental Well-Being. He will join notable athletes and experts to focus on increasing awareness about the benefits of physical activity, sports, nutrition, and mental wellness; encouraging intergenerational physical fitness activities; and promoting equitable access to outdoor and physical activities for underserved communities. We’re thrilled the YMCA can bring more health and wellness opportunities for kids and adults across California.

Welcome New Board Of Directors Members

YMCA of the East Bay welcomes the appointment of two new members to the Board of Directors. “I’m so thrilled to have two incredible individuals say ‘yes’ to joining our Board. They both have strong financial and investment experiences, an area of skill sets where we can expand and tap into their expertise and experience to ensure financial growth and sustainability for our organization,” said Fran Gallati. Joining the Board are Allen Carr and Scott Stafford.
