CAMP RIVEREDGE

CAMP RIVEREDGE

ABOUT CAMP RIVEREDGE CAMPS CAMP Riveredge camps take place at Sandy Beach Park located in Calgary's southwest. OUTDOOR DAY CAMPS At Camp Riveredge, campers will experience a fully outdoor camp—right in the city! Packed with full days of adventure, campers will try out the low ropes, challenge course, bouldering cube and archery range. They’ll participate in active camp games, build a team shelter and spend lots of time exploring forests and wide-open spaces. Full days immersed in the natural world will provide many meaningful opportunities and loads fun! All camps include some of the same activities, but are modified for each developmental stage to keep camp fun, engaging and challenging for all ages. OUTDOOR EDUCATION YMCA Camp Riveredge also offers unique experiences through Outdoor Education that relate to the Alberta curriculum and provide students a chance to develop social, leadership and teamwork skills. Each visit can be tailored to meet specific requirements such as compliment in class learning, facilitate friendships and celebrate year end success.

HOW DO KIDS PROGRESS THROUGH OUR CAMP LEVELS? Our camps are different at each developmental stage. Along with all the fun camp activities, we begin to introduce life, physical and leadership skills through fun and engaging games and play. Your camper will have so much fun, they won’t even notice they’re learning at the same time!
