香港交響管樂團
THE HONG KONG SYMPHON IC WINDS 1987年5月，黃日照先生以「推廣管樂音樂，培訓本地 一流管樂手」為目標，組織成立一隊具規模的餘業管樂 團 - 香港交響管樂團。當時的樂團成員，大部分是黃氏 在香港三十多年教學生涯裡培訓出來的學生。 許多年來，後起之秀陸續加入，除了由黃氏的學生訓練 出來的第二代，甚至是第三代樂手，亦有其他熱愛管樂 的人士參與。樂團目前擁有一百多名來自專業、業餘及 學界的出色樂手。而其中三十多位專業音樂工作者更是 活躍於本地及國際舞台。 香港交響管樂團首演音樂會於1988年2月20日在沙田大 會堂舉行。其後，經常得到前市政局、前區域市政局及 康樂及文化事務署的邀請，舉行一系列介紹和推廣管樂 的音樂會。樂團走遍港九新界，為社會各界演出超過三 百場音樂會，演奏無數古今中外名作。
Founded by Mr. Alfonso Wong in May 1987, The Hong Kong Symphonic Winds (HKSW) is the first amateur band with considerable size and structure in Hong Kong, formed mostly by talented students of Mr. Wong. Among the 100+ members of HKSW, 30+ are distinguished players actively performing on local and international stages, and many members are also making their great efforts and contributions to music education. Since the debut concert in Shatin Town Hall on 20 February 1988, HKSW has started to work with the former Regional Council and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department to promote music among people from all walks of life in Hong Kong. Over 300 concerts have been held all over Hong Kong, HKSW brings the joy of music to every home by visiting every district. The repertoire includes masterpieces from both the East and the West.
Our missions are not bound by any geographic or national boundaries, HKSW performed in various places including 樂團亦進軍海外，於澳門、上海、台灣、德國、荷蘭等 Macau, Shanghai, Taiwan, Germany and Netherlands. In the 地演出，俱獲高度評價。樂團更分別在2013年和2017年 competition of the World Music Contest in 2013 and 2017, 於荷蘭舉行的WMC世界音樂大賽中，獲得合奏第一組別 HKSW achieved the gold medal in the “Harmony First Division”. 金奬殊榮。 樂團多次與世界級音樂家合作，如2008年獲得美國輕音 樂大師安達臣的家屬授權，將原本是雙鋼琴版的《鋼琴 協奏曲》改篇成管樂伴奏版，成為亞洲首演曲目。2015 年周年音樂會上，樂團更請到美國管樂界殿堂級人物， 伊士曼音樂學院的小號教授詹士湯臣，合演《小號與管 樂合奏奏鳴曲》。
HKSW also had performance with world-class musicians. In 2008, two concerts were held to pay tribute to Leroy Anderson. With the permission of Anderson’s family, HKSW re-arranged his piano concerto for piano solo with wind band accompaniment. In 2015, HKSW performed with James Thompson, the renowned soloist and professor of Eastman School of Music, in the annual concert.
樂團每年舉辦室內和協辦戶外音樂會。2010年開始，春 季音樂會以老幼咸宜的輕鬆樂曲為主打，加上夢幻般舞 台，嘉年華似的裝束，活潑幽默的演出，不但為香港管 樂界開展嶄新一面，更連續七年於香港文化中心音樂廳 和香港大會堂錄得全院滿座的紀錄，成為樂團另一成功 標記。
HKSW hosts indoor and outdoor concerts regularly. Since 2010, HKSW launched concerts with repertoire chosen especially for children. It becomes a huge success in the local market, and attracts lots of children with their families to enjoy a night of music and laughter together. As of 2018, we have achieved record performances of 7 continuous full house concerts at the concert hall of Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Hong Kong City Hall.

HKSW engages in a variety of charitable activities held by different organizations, such as Lions Clubs International, The Hong Kong Society for the Blind and Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society etc., as a contribution to society.

MUSIC DIRECTOR LAUREATE
黃日照 Alfonso Wong 黃日照1931年出生於菲律賓，九歲起學習小號。1953 年，憑着一顆熱愛音樂之心，滿懷希望地北上，渴望投 考「北京中央音樂學院」深造。由於建院初期，急需管 樂師資人材，黃氏在前輩的建議和鼓勵下，接受作為任 職教師。一方面教授小號，另一方面進修了一系列學院 的作曲、理論等課程。1954年，黃氏成為有「中國小 號之父」之稱的夏之秋老師的助教。在任教期間，並得 到前蘇聯知名小號演奏家提摩費．多克西哲（Timofei Dokshitser）於小號演奏技藝方面的指導，獲益良多。 1974年回港後，隨即加入「香港浸會學院」（現「香 港浸會大學」前身）為音樂系講師。1975年加入聖文 德書院為管樂導師，帶領聖文德書院管樂團於香港校際 音樂節贏得共十次高級組管樂團冠軍的輝煌成績，其中 更包括連續六年贏取該冠軍，「六連冠」的成績至今仍 未被打破。1978年黃氏加入「香港音樂事務統籌處」 並任職一級訓練主任，任教小號長達九年。退休之後， 於1987年為「香港中國婦女會中學」籌辦及組織了管 樂團。1987年5月，黃氏聯同葉惠康博士及「香港泛亞 交響樂團」，成立了「香港交響管樂團」，並擔任副音 樂總監一職。1992年擔任音樂總監，32年來帶領「香 港交響管樂團」不斷演出，走遍香港各區。管樂團水準 亦不斷提昇，不但創造出輝煌成績，更培養出大批管樂 演奏人才、作曲家及樂隊指揮，可謂桃李滿天下。黃氏 把《聖文德進行曲》改名為《香港交響管樂團進行 曲》。1999年開始，黃氏帶領香港交響管樂團到海外 演出及交流，所到地方包括澳門、廣州及上海。當中每 次演出均獲很高的評價。2001年8月，黃氏獲「中國藝 術教育促進會」聘任為「亞洲學生管樂協會理事」。 可見黃氏對管樂教育的貢獻得到社會廣泛的認同。 黃氏對樂曲編寫創作具濃厚興趣，數十年來，共編作了 一百多首小號練習曲，近20首管樂團作品及十多首小 號獨奏作品。黃氏亦根據周文軒先生所寫的中國樂曲編 作給管樂團演奏，促進了中西音樂的交流與融合。
Alfonso Wong, born in the Philippines in 1931, began learning the trumpet at the age of 9. Filled with passion for music, Wong decided to move to Beijing in hopes of furthering his studies at the Central Conservatory of Music. As the Conservatory was newly built, it was in desperate need of brass teachers. Under the advice and encouragement of his elders, Wong took up the job as a teaching staff in the Conservatory. While he was teaching trumpet performing, he also furthered his knowledge by attending classes such as music composition and music theory. In 1954, Wong became the assistant lecturer of the “Father of Trumpet in China”, Mr. Xia Zhiqiu, at the Conservatory. During his stay at the Conservatory, Wong received performance techniques trainings from the renowned Russian virtuoso trumpeter Timofei Dokshitser. Wong returned to Hong Kong in 1974, and taught at the Department of Music of the Hong Kong Baptist College (now known as the Hong Kong Baptist University). In 1975, Wong started to teach in the St. Bonaventure College and High School Band and has captured many championships at the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, including a significant record of “Six Consecutive Championships” which has never been broken ever since. In 1978, Wong joined the Hong Kong Music Office as Assistant Music Officer I and had taught trumpet for 9 years. After his retirement, Wong formed and taught in the Hong Kong Chinese Women’s Club College School Band. In May 1987, together with Dr. Yip Wai-hong and the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, Wong founded The Hong Kong Symphonic Winds, taking the position as Assistant Music Director, and acted as Music Director in 1992. For the past 32 years, Wong has led the band in performing all over Hong Kong with brilliant achievements, and had trained large numbers of performers and conductors of public recognition. Wong has had over 300 students. Starting from 1999, Wong had been leading The Hong Kong Symphonic Winds into performances and inter-flows outside Hong Kong, places included Macau, Guangzhou and Shanghai. All performances were highly accredited. In August 2001, Wong was appointed by the Chinese Art Education Promotion Association as a committee member of the Asian Student Band Music Council. This had showed that his influence and attributions in wind music were highly recognized. Wong also had a passion for music compositions. Throughout all those years, Wong had composed over 100 trumpet studies, over 20 band music and over 10 trumpet solo pieces. Wong also transcribed several renowned music written by Dr. Chou Wen-hsien into band music. This has encouraged the fusion of Chinese and Western music.

馮嘉興 Fung Ka Hing 小號演奏家及指揮家馮嘉興以漂亮而清澈的音色，優秀的音樂感及親和的舞台 魅力而深受觀眾喜愛，活躍於表演舞台。 馮嘉興舞台足跡踏遍全球，東南亞如日本、台灣、北美洲、加拿大、歐洲法 國、荷蘭以致南美洲巴西、阿根廷等。 於2013年成為Yamaha Artist (HK)小號演奏家，馮嘉興曾任香港小交響樂團小 號首席(2007-2014)，及其他多個樂團合作包括香港管弦樂團，香港城市室樂 團，台灣國家交響樂團，澳門樂團及廣州交響樂團等，亦經常舉行獨奏會及獲 邀作獨奏演出。 除小號演奏之外，馮氏亦是一位出色的指揮家及教育家。馮氏於2011年開始成 為香港交響管樂團之副音樂總監，演出無數，更於2013年帶領香港交響管樂團 遠赴歐洲，參與於荷蘭舉行之世界管樂大賽(WMC Kerkrade) 之比賽及演出， 廣受好評。馮氏現任教於香港演藝學院，香港浸會大學，亦於多個場合舉行大 師班，工作室及講座。 馮嘉興曾獲得香港賽馬會音樂及舞蹈基金贊助赴美國伊士曼音樂學院深造，師 隨Prof. James Thompson，取得其碩士學位及獲頒發演奏家證書，亦曾獲得 亞洲文化協會之獎學金贊助參加美國 Apsen Music Festival and School，赴 美前馮氏於香港演藝院完成音樂學士及專業文憑課程。馮氏亦曾師隨Laurence Gargan、Jonathan Clarke、馮啟文、Raymond Mase、Kevin Cobb，其中 以其啟蒙老師黄日照對馮氏之影響最為深遠。 With the beautiful tone color and great communicative power, Fung Ka Hing received good reputation no matter in the role of a trumpet performer or conductor. Fung began studying trumpet with Mr. Kenneth Fung at a tender age, and went on the enthusiasm with Mr. Laurence Gargan, Mr. Jonathan Clarke, Mr. Raymond Mase, Mr. Kevin Cobb and Mr. Alfonso Wong, whom Fung regarded as the most important role model in life. Upon graduation from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) as a Profession Diploma, he was awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund, for which he commenced his Master Degree at the Eastman School of Music, where he studied with the acclaimed Professor James Thompson. In 2006, he completed with the Performer’s Certificate for outstanding performance. He was also awarded scholarship by the Asian Culture Council Hong Kong to participate in Apsen Music Festival and School. Fung is active in trumpet performance and is always invited to be guest soloist. He had performed abroad in Japan, Taiwan, North America, Canada, France, Netherland, Brazil, Argentina and so forth. He had also collaborated with Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra，Macao Orchestra and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. Fung has been the Yamaha Artist (HK) since 2013 and was the principle trumpet in Hong Kong Sinfonietta from 2007-2014. Besides being active in conducting masterclass, workshop and seminar, he is now giving trumpet lesson in HKAPA and Hong Kong Baptist University. Besides trumpet performance and education, Fung is also keen on conducting. He has been the Associate Music Director at Hong Kong Symphonic Winds since 2011. In 2013, he led the wind band to compete in World Music Contest in Netherland and received great success.

張浩昇 Cheung Ho Sing 張浩昇自中一起在聖文徳書院學習小號，師隨黃日照，其後加入香港交響管 樂團，並多次隨團到香港，澳門和中國演出。中學畢業後考獲香港演藝學院 文憑課程，於2006年畢業，其後繼續於香港演藝學院修讀音樂學士課程，並 於2009年畢業，主修小號。師隨香港管弦樂團首席小號卡拉克，並接受助理 首席小號莫思卓指導，亦曾接受過多個世界知名小號大師如湯瑪遜，偉蘇提 等指導。 張氏曾參與多個大型音樂活動和演出，包括廣東國際音樂夏令營、香港國際 管樂節、第四十屆國際圓號交流匯演。張氏亦以特約樂手之身份參與多個管 弦樂團之演出，包括香港管弦樂團、香港小交響樂團和澳門樂團，張氏現為 音樂事務處兼職樂師。張氏在2008年之香港演藝學院協奏曲比賽中勝出，並 擔任其音樂會之獨奏家。 Cheung Ho Sing has studied trumpet with Mr. Alfonso Wong since form 1 in St. Bonadventure College & High School. He later joined the Hong Kong Symphonic Winds, which performed throughout Hong Kong, Macau and China. After graduating from high school, Cheung was admitted by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and finished the diploma programme in 2006, he continued the study in Bachelor of Music at the HKAPA and graduated in 2009, major in Trumpet . He studied with Mr. Jonathan Clarke, principal trumpet of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and also received training from Christopher Moyse, assistant principal trumpet of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Besides the above, Cheung had lessons with several world known trumpet players such as James Thompson and Allen Vizzutti. He performed in various performances, such as the Canton International Summer Music Academy (CISMA), the Hong Kong International Band Festival and the 40th Annual International Horn Symposium. He also participates in many orchestras as a freelance player, such as Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Macau Orchestra, Cheung is currently Music Office part-time performer. Cheung won the concerto trial in HKAPA at 2008 and played as a sololist in the concerto winner’s concert.

HKSW PHILANTHROPY
成立了30年的HKSW「香港交響管樂團」是一個非牟利團 體，在香港推廣管樂並不斷進步，有賴各團員無私奉獻，和兩 所學校的協助。沒有資助，以自身缺乏資源的環境下仍能創造 傳奇，貫徹我們的宗旨推廣管樂。樂團自己出發，積極參與不 少慈善活動，包括舉辦免費音樂會和免費管樂導賞、協辦免費 大師班，幫助慈善機構籌款，與公營機構協辦音樂會，並與企業 合作讓社福機構朋友們參與音樂活動 。 The Hong Kong Symphonic Winds (HKSW) was established in 1987. We are a non-profit organization promoting wind music in Hong Kong. Thanks to all the HKSW members and two schools, HKSW is able to drive its philanthropy programme to inspire and expand musical appreciation. HKSW philanthropic activities include free concerts for the underprivileged, free seminars for wind band music education, hosting master classes, co-hosting master classes in the Hong Kong Arts Festival, collaborating with NGO's, and collaborating with businesses to sponsor the underprivileged to join concerts.

Juri Briat 《回到未來》是1985年上映的科幻電影，故事描述男主角馬蒂・麥佛萊被意外送回1955 年，不但巧遇過去的父母，還讓年輕的母親對自己一見鍾情；馬蒂必須讓自己的父母重新 墜入愛河才能修正歷史錯誤，並和布朗博士合作重回1985年。此電影叫好叫座，其配樂部 份更於金球獎中被提名最佳音樂。 艾倫・席維史崔畢業於美國伯克利音樂學院。專注電影配樂的他，憑《阿甘正傳》獲得奧 斯卡金像獎。近期代表作是《復仇者聯盟》電影系列。席維史崔擅長創作簡單易記的主題 旋律，令觀眾容易把電影與音樂結合一起。 Back to the Future released in 1985, is a sci-fi film about Marty McFly. Mcfly accidentally returned to 1955, where he met his future parents and mistakenly became his mother's romantic interests. To repair history and return to 1985, Mcfly collaborated with Dr Emmett, "Doc" Brown, the inventor of the time-travelling DeLorean. The film was a great success and its soundtrack had been nominated for the Best Music in the Golden Globe Award. Alan Silvestri graduated from the Berklee College of Music and famous for composing simple, catchy movie theme melodies. Silvestri won an Oscar for Forrest Gump and his latest masterpiece is the soundtrack of the Avengers film series.

Sean OLoughlin 夢工場最受歡迎的電腦動畫片《馴龍記》，從2010年第一集上映至2019終於完成三部曲。 動畫改編自英國女作家葛蕾熙達・柯維爾（ Cressida Cowell ）於2003年所作的同名童 書。 講述一個虛構的維京世界，名為思噎仔（Hiccup）的年輕維京人渴望跟隨部落的傳統成為 一位「屠龍高手」。某晚意外地捕捉到一隻傳說中的龍「夜瘋魔」，相處過後，逐漸發現 殺龍無法解決問題，應以馴服來取代。 英國電影配樂作曲家約翰・包威爾為這套動畫配上美妙、具有北歐民族風格的音樂，令聽 眾有如置身夢幻的維京國度。 The film was adapted from the children's author Cressida Cowell's book How to Train Your Dragon in 2003. It becomes the most popular animation of DreamWorks and completed the trilogy in 2019. The story depicts a fictional Viking world with a young Viking teenager named Hiccup who aims to become a “Dragon slayer”. Yet after capturing his first dragon "Night Fury", he realizes that killing dragons is not the best solution but be friends with them. British composer John Powell scored wonderful Nordic-style music for this cartoon, which perfectly describes the dreamlike Viking world. 14
請記住 我 REMEMBER ME 克里斯汀・安德生-羅培茲、羅拔・羅培茲威作曲；莊尼・文森編曲 Comp. Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, arr. Jonnie Vison 《請記住我》是彼思動畫製作室2018電影《玩轉極樂園》的主題曲！電影的概念源於墨西 哥節日「亡靈節」。電影內容圍繞著親情、家庭等問題，講述12歲男孩米哥・李維拉意外 穿越到亡靈的世界，為了返回現實世界，他必需尋回已故的音樂家高祖父阿德。米哥回到 現實後，又想辦法幫助阿德進入極樂園。電影結束前，為了讓曾祖母可可回憶起她父親阿 德，自彈自唱《請記住我》，令觀眾感動落淚。 負責作曲的羅拔，與作詞的克里斯汀原來是夫妻，難怪歌曲中流露著對親人濃厚的愛。 Remember Me is the theme song of the movie Coco produced by Pixar Animation Studios in 2018. The story was inspired by the Mexican festival "Day of the Dead". Coco tells the story of a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who accidentally crossed to Land of the Dead. In order to return to his family, he must seek the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather, Héctor. After Miguel returns to the Land of Living, he finds ways to help Héctor return to “the Land of the Dead”. At the end of the movie, Miguel sings and plays Remember Me for his relatives, both living and dead. The music Remember Me is composed by Robert Lopez, and the lyric is written by his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Their composition shows strong affection for their loved ones that deeply touched the heart of the audiences.

Jay Bocook 《反斗奇兵》是1995年上映的電腦動畫片，是彼思製作的首部夥伴冒險喜劇。影片的主角 是一隊在人類面前假裝沒有生命的玩具，雖然時常搞出笑料，但牛仔胡迪和太空騎警巴斯 光年卻成為大家的英雄。電影的主題曲〈你是我的朋友〉被提名奧斯卡最佳原創歌曲。 今晚我們演出1999上映的《反斗奇兵續集》的音樂選段，當然，會有大家喜歡的〈你是我 的朋友〉囉！就讓我們回味一下溫馨的童年時光吧。 Toy Story is a computer-animated cartoon released in 1995, the first adventure comedy produced by Pixar Animation Studios. This comedy is about a bunch of anthropomorphic toys come to life when humans are not around. Woody, the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear, the astronaut, are their favourite heroes. The theme song of the movie You've Got a Friend in Me was nominated for Oscar's Best Original Song. In this concert, we perform both the all-time favourite You've Got a Friend in Me, and the music selection of the Toy Story 2 which is released in 1999. Let’s enjoy music together!

RADWIMPS 作曲；宮川成治編曲 Comp. RADWIMPS, arr. Seiji Miyagawa 日本動畫家新海誠編劇與執導的作品《你的名字》，於2016上映時，成為香港週末票房 冠軍，成功超越《千與千尋》，成為香港史上最高票房收入的2D日本動畫電影，並贏得 最賣座的日本動畫電影第二名。電影關於男女主角在時空交錯的同時，認識對方、愛上 對方，卻又被時空分隔，是個浪漫感人的愛情故事。 負責配樂的是日本4人搖滾樂隊RADWIMPS，他們的作風是對「生命」持徹底的肯定態 度，但卻同時反對永生，這兩種態度在他們的很多曲子裡經常對照出現。與《你的名 字》的主題可謂天造地設的一對。 Your Name written and directed by Makoto Shinkai has achieved great commercial success. It won the highest 2D Japanese animated film at the box office in Hong Kong and became the second largest box office in Japan, second only to Spirited Away. The film is a complex, romantic love story about a rural high school girl and a Tokyo high school boy. The soundtrack is created by the Japanese rock band RADWIMPS and its music has a distinct style and understanding upon "life", perfectly representing the main concept of Your Name.

The oboe plays a fascinating and popular love theme in the middle, which is definitely everyone's favourite. James Hosay is an American composer and arranger. Hosay studied trumpet from an early age and began to arrange his own high school orchestra at the age of 13. He started to compose since the age of 15 and Persian was one of his best works.

Calvin Custer 1980年上映的浪漫奇幻電影《時光倒流七十年》改編自理察・麥瑟森1975年出版的小說《 重返的時刻》（Bid Time Return）。故事講述男主角以意念力，從1979年穿越回到1912 年，尋找一位似曾相識的女影星，與她共墮愛河，是一部浪漫卻以遺憾結束的愛情故事。 其電影配樂更獲得金球獎最佳原創音樂獎提名。 英國作曲家及電影配樂大師約翰・巴利為電影寫下了令觀眾一聽難忘的主題音樂，想不到 《007》電影系列的御用作曲家，亦可寫出如此浪漫動人的樂章。 The romantic movie Somewhere in Time, released in 1980, was adapted from the novel Bid Time Return published by Richard Matheson in 1975. This tragic story tells about Richard Collier, who returned to 1912 in 1979 through self-hypnosis and fell in love with an actress. The original soundtrack of the film was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Music. This beautiful song is composed by the British film soundtrack master John Barry, who also produced soundtracks for other popular movies, such as the James Bond 007 series.

The plot revolves around a bounty hunter named Porco Rosso, who lived in Italy in the 1920s and 1930s and chased "air pirates." However, one day he was transformed into a pig by magic. Porco Rosso means "red pig" in Italian. Hisaishi's soundtrack binds all the elements that fully describe the character's temperament and story background, perfectly matching this wonderful story. 17

Sawako Yamazato 於1997開始連載的少年漫畫《海賊王》，由於極受歡迎，被改編成各種系列的衍生作 品，不但奪得多個獎項，更在流行文化中成為一股旋風。漫畫的主題，「尋找伙伴，一 起為理想奮鬥」，在在感動很多與漫畫一同成長的年輕人。 此曲原名是《 J-Pop Stage Vol.3 》，是首一口氣集合了電視動畫《海賊王》1999-2010歷 代，總共11首電視動畫的主題歌的專曲，編排尤其有心思，令觀眾既興奮又歡樂。 One Piece is a Japanese manga series that has been serialized in the magazine since 1997. As a best-selling manga, it has been adapted into a series of derivative works for its popularity. One Piece has received wide recognition and won numerous awards. Its brotherhood shown in the comics has successfully attracted many youngsters and becomes new culture. The original name of the song is J-Pop Stage Vol.3, a delightful mixed track carefully arranged by Sawako Yamazato, that contains 11 TV theme songs of One Piece from 1999 to 2010.
