Discover a network of trails built into the island, envisioned by award-winning San Francisco-based CMG Landscape Architects. There is always more to explore, from paved walkways to tree-lined paths and stairs designed by Hart Howerton and Cliff Lowe Associates, connecting you to every corner of Yerba Buena Island. Several miles of trails are specifically designed for hiking, biking, wandering, and journeying to the 500-mile San Francisco Bay Trail, which winds through 9 counties, 47 cities, and the entire Bay Area.

Clipper Cove

A protected harbor with calm water and minimal currents, Clipper Cove is perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or kayaking. Here, you can take part in activities such as bird-watching, beach yoga, or simply enjoying a picnic by the water. This dog-friendly destination also extends to The Rocks Dog Park, a scenic off-leash area just up the hill.

Experience panoramic bay and skyline vistas at our five-acre Hilltop Park, which includes Signal Hill Park and Panorama Park. Nearby, let your dog roam free at The Rocks Dog Park.

Crowning Yerba Buena Island, Panorama Park is a place built for vision. Panorama Park captures views in every direction and features the 69-foot steel sculpture “Point of Infinity” by renowned Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto.

This five-acre park features 360° views of the Bay and scenic walking trails dotted by native flora. Adjacent to Panorama Park, it is situated at the highest point on the island.

Situated near the residential areas, The Rocks Dog Park offers a scenic and designated off-leash dog run in the center of the island.

Point of Infinity

At Yerba Buena Island’s Hilltop Park is the skyline-altering 69-foot steel sculpture “Point of Infinity” by renowned Hiroshi Sugimoto. From the monument’s 23-foot base, it acts as a sundial and appears as though it reaches up to the skies above. Visible from the Embarcadero, Sugimoto’s inspiring piece is his first major work in the United States. Standing within its presence, you can revel in unobstructed views in every direction.

The Ferry Building is one of San Francisco’s most treasured and historic spots, located on one of the city’s most picturesque boulevards: the Embarcadero. Wilson Meany spearheaded the restoration of the Ferry Building, emphasizing the connection between Yerba Buena Island and this iconic destination. Ferries to and from Yerba Buena Island arrive and depart from here, so Residents can seamlessly explore the weekly farmers market, goods and wares, and cafes and restaurants, including renowned eateries like Hog Island Oyster Co. and Gott’s Roadside. Satisfy your cravings with sweet treats, artisanal specialties, coffee, tea, wine, craft beer, and spirits.

Introducing the ~10,000-square-foot, multi-story Island Club, crafted by award-winning designers at Aidlin Darling Design. Just a short stroll from your home, this exclusive community space is essential for building connections among neighbors through shared experiences.

A social hub and the heart of the neighborhood, this private members’ club, exclusively accessible for Residents and their guests, is alive with activities, community events, and daily rituals. Earth tones and textures flow seamlessly from the spectacular and artful modern interiors, outfitted with a fireplace and lounge, into the open-air terrace where spontaneous gatherings are the norm.

Wellness Places

Begin your days with yoga or a wellness class in the Fitness Center or a few refreshing laps in the heated outdoor 25-yard swimming pool. The sauna and hot tub offer curative moments on peaceful Yerba Buena Island days.
