Some parents even have doubts~ whether or not to send their kids to partici· pate in this pro gramme. Brats programme? But, aren't teenagers really 'brats'? Be cause they are bright, because they roving, it makes them 'annoying' teenagers.
The Brats programme is dedicated to young people aged 16 to 19 where they are ex posed to the world of print journalism by involving them in the process of writing for a newspaper and getting them to learn about the environment and nature. Acquiring journalism skill through workshop.
Thirty bright, roving, annoying teenagers were once again gathered in Kota Kinabalu fromNovember23-27,1996fortheBRATs workshop, part of the overall programme for the year organised by the STAR Publ··~ cation, a national-based newspaper and sponsored by Yayasan Sabah.
