ABOUT US The purpose of this studio is to provide a peaceful sanctuary in the midst of a crowded city for the busy and stressed urban individual. Today's life is such that, in our quest to achieve more and more, we end up creating jam packed lives for ourselves. All of our attention and energy is always directed towards doing something in the external world; for our jobs, families, hobbies or social activities. In this setting it is easy to practice the art of being; to shut out everything and connect deeply with yourself and remain in that still, deep place for an extended period.

1. What is the difference between Meditation and Deep Relaxation? Ans : Meditation is a broad term that covers everything from being engrossed in the act of painting to Nirvana. Deep Relaxation is one of the stages that occur in meditation as you start withdrawing from the external world and connecting with yourself in a deeper way.

Four Day Deep Relaxation - Session Details These are four, one hour sessions conducted on four days. These are one on one sessions, not group sessions and are set up by taking an appointment. Each session lasts for one to one and half hours. Each session begins with Pranayama and Chanting for 20-25 minutes to clear out thoughts and then the client lies down for Reiki and Crystal work. We do different Pranayamas and Chants every time so that the client gets exposed to different techniques. When performing Chakra Balancing, I get an indication of the current state of the client's Chakras. Based on that and on how the client is feeling and his/her availability, we set up an appointment for the next session. The idea behind the Four Day Deep Relaxation Sessions is that the client gets to try out various breathing techniques, experience Reiki, Crystal Healing and Chakra Balancing and to enjoy the bliss of going deep within. After the four day program, clients have a choice of continuing to schedule weekly or twice weekly appointments and also to continue practicing the breathing techniques at home to maintain the state of balance and harmony they have achieved.
