Der HIGH X SL Fünfspeichen-Laufradsatz vereint Design, Performance und Agilität des HIGH X mit außerordentlichem Leichtbau der neuesten Generation. Um das Laufrad für den Rennradbereich noch interessanter und leichter zu machen, erfolgten präzise Simulationen und Versuche im Bereich des Carbon-Lay-ups. Das innovative Ergebnis verwendet spezielle ultrahochmodule Carbonfasern in optimierten Orientierungen, die das Gewicht um weitere 100 Gramm auf 1290 Gramm pro Laufradsatz reduzieren. Die Fertigung besteht aus vielen Arbeitsschritten, die in präziser Handarbeit und mit High-End-Maschinen durchgeführt werden. Um die Sicherheit der Athleten zu gewährleisten, wird das Laufrad in einem Stück mit der One-Shot-Hollow (OSH) Technologie in Österreich hergestellt. Der Clincher-Laufradsatz ist für ein maximales Gesamtsystemgewicht von 110 kg (keine E-Bike Freigabe) zugelassen und hat eine Felgeninnenbreite von 25 Millimetern. Dadurch ergibt sich die variable Einsatzmöglichkeit für die Rennräder auf Asphalt mit einer Reifenbreite ab 28 Millimetern bis zu 50 Millimetern für leichtes Gelände. Zur einfachen und sicheren Befestigung der Bremsscheibe ist der Laufradsatz mit dem Centerlock®-Standard ausgestattet. Außerdem kann der Fahrer zwischen verschiedenen Freilaufsystemen wählen, die mit den gängigen Schaltungskomponenten auf dem Markt kompatibel sind.
The HIGH X SL five-spoke wheelset combines the design, performance and agility of the HighX with extraordinary lightweight construction of the latest generation. In order to make the wheel even more interesting and lighter for the road bike sector, precise simulations and tests were carried out in the area of carbon lay-up. The innovative result uses special ultra-high modulus carbon fibres in optimised orientations, which reduce the weight by a further 100 grams to 1290 grams per wheelset. The production consists of many steps, which are carried out by hand with precision and using high-end machines. To ensure the safety of the athletes, the wheel is manufactured in one piece using One-Shot-Hollow (OSH) technology in Austria. The clincher wheelset is approved for a maximum total system weight of 110 kg (no e-bike approval) and has an inner rim width of 25 millimetres. This means that it can be used variably for racing bikes on asphalt with a tyre width from 28 millimetres up to 50 millimetres for easy terrain. The wheelset is equipped with the Centerlock® standard for simple and secure mounting of the brake rotor. The rider has the option of choosing between different freewheel systems, which are compatible with the most common shifting components available on the market.
