Michael lives in Medfield with his wife, Ana, and their four children, and also added a new member to their family in February with the arrival of Lula, a lab/border collie mix.

Frank Judge and Rich O’Connell completed the Manchester to Monadnock 55-mile ultra-race. The race starts at 4:00 a.m. and is a grueling, point-to-point test of endurance, as contestants run a total of 55 miles and cover over 6,000 feet of vertical climb! “Thirty years have passed, but the Xaverian brotherhood remains strong with us,” said Rich.

CLASS AGENTS: Matt Miller, Vincent Verducci Dennis Crowley and his wife, Chelsa, welcomed a son, Mars Power Crowley, into the world on December 21. He was welcomed home by his big sister, Via. Paul Galante and his wife, Katie, welcomed their first baby, Evelyn Louise Galante, on October 12. Paul also became the RN case manager for Spinal Cord Injury/ Disease and Physical Medicine at the Manchester VA in New Hampshire in August 2017. Dave Heikkinen will be a tenured professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at Fitchburg State University on September 1. Dave teaches biomechanics of sport, scientific foundations of strength and conditioning, motor learning and control of human movement, fitness management, and functional anatomy classes, to name a few. When Dave is not teaching, he enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, and gardening. He is a nationally ranked Masters ski racer in the USSA Masters racing circuit. He, his wife, Jen, and lab, Piper, live in Whitinsville.

Matt Valas is a graduate of Hofstra University. He is a lieutenant colonel in the U. S. Army, Green Berets, and has served in Afghanistan, Dafor, and Bahrain, to name a few. CLASS AGENT: Theo Matheos Dave Garabedian and his wife, Rachel, were married in 2011 and honeymooned in Iceland. They currently have two daughters, Annabel, four, and Grace, two. Prior to moving to Auburn, where they now reside, David worked in the American Hockey League (AHL) for 10 years. Theo Matheos is a professor of anesthesiology and surgery, and medical director of the Pre-Surgical Evaluation Clinic and Surgical ICU at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He is also the chief of vascular and thoracic anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology in the Division of Critical Care Medicine. Theo and his family reside in Wayland.
