about before. By this time, I was in High School and riding a Honda CB360T that was my old man’s, then a 750, which was mine. (Big bike for those days) All paled in comparison to that amazing machine Uncle John rode. It was just stunning and I was hooked. I remember a later model, that had reverse, the first time I saw that in action I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, bike WITH REVERSE. And this was around 1989-ish. I had to have a Gold Wing. Uncle John influenced me in so many great and positive ways, ways I will never be able to repay him for and I am thankful he is still around, I only wish I could spend more time with him. He was always excited about the new technology that the bikes were coming out with and would encourage me to check it out. And his bike was always in pristine, showroom condition. thing was passed along! Why do I ride what I ride? Because of my Uncle John. I was lucky a few times to get to ride with him, my old man, my cousin Jake, and it’s funny, those are the days I will never forget and they were forever ago. I am eternally thankful for all that my dad and my uncles all taught me, but I have a special spot for riding because of my Uncle John. My hope, dream, wish, it to someday have a niece or nephew that I have taught half as much. Ride like there is no tomorrow. Todd “Crash” Davis
