Background: Previous roles have included admin officer for a Community Development Team in the disability industry and Operations Manager for a school P&C which has given me lots of experience in adminandorganisingactivitiesandevents.
PersonalQualities: Iamhonest,reliableandfriendly.
WhatDoILoveAboutMyRole: I love coming to work and seeing how the support we provide to participants helps them to become active members ofthecommunityandlivetheirbestlife.
Future Plans for My Role: Building on our activities program to provide a variety of fun, social and learning activities that all people with disability are abletoparticipatein.

OnthelastSaturdayofJanuary,ourRAWR bowlingcompetitionkickedoffagainatSunset SuperbowlinToowoomba,anditwasablast! Thecompetitionbroughttogetherbothfamiliar facesandsomenewparticipants,allexcitedto bowl,havefun,andenjoythefriendly atmosphere.
Everyonehadagreattime,showingofftheir skills(andmaybeafewstrikes!),whileothers cheeredeachotheron.Itwasawesometosee somenewcomersjoininonthefun,andthey quicklyfitrightinwiththegroup. Theeventwasahugesuccess,anditwasa reminderofhowimportantitistogettogether, relax,andmakenewconnections.Wecan'twait todoitallagainnextmonth!
ItwasDonna'sbirthdayonthe10thofJanuary, andshespentalittleportionofherspecialday attheWarwickoffice ��
DonnahasbeenwithRAWRsince2021andit's soheartwarmingtoseehowshe'sgrown throughouttheyears,boththroughour supportsandherownevolution-wecouldn't bemoreproud!Here'stomorebirthdaysto come,withlotsofsmiles,cakeandcelebration withtheRAWRfamily! ������
AlovelydaywasspentwithJillonherbirthday,starting with some small celebrations at the SIL house with SW Paula,tospendingherdayattheCherryTree&RSLwith SW Anna. The awesome staff at Cherry Tree Cafe serenaded her with cake and candles, which was followedbyfishandchipswithfriendsattheRSL!

1.Diceonionandcookinalittlebutteron lowheat
2.Addtherisottoricetothepanandstir wellsothericeiscoatedinthebutter.
3.Stirinladlefulbyladlefulthestock, waitinguntileachparthasbeen absorbed.Thiswilltakearound18 minutes.
4.Meanwhile,diceandcookthechorizo andmushrooms.Cookthemseparately fromthericeasthemushroomsgetall coatedinthesmokinessfromthechorizo.
5.Whencooked,addthembackintothe risottoandaddthehandfulsoffrozen peasorcorn.
6.Cookforanotherfewminutes,topwith cheeseandserve.
