Throughout Jumpers & Jazz, RAWRSS offered free history tours for the public, showcasing this historic building we're so privileged to call home. With some items loaned from Pringle Cottage, look what we had displayed!
A massive thank you to everyone who gave a helping hand with decorating our Jumpers & Jazz Tree! Coming together with our secret knitting talents not only created an amazing looking tree, but also the best one

M E T H O D
Step 1 of 2
Heat oil in large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add cumin and ground coriander and stir for 1 minute. Add tomato paste, kidney beans, corn and capsicum and cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in chicken, freekeh and coriander.
Step 2 of 2 Heat a clean non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 1 tortilla to the pan, fill half with chicken mixture and a quarter of the cheese. Fold closed and toast on each side for 1-2 minutes or until golden and cheese has melted. Repeat with remaining mixture and tortillas. Slice each folded quesadilla in half and serve immediately.
Shaz have travelled through to Captains Mountain just 10 kms west of Millmerran. There is only a service station there which has recently reopened after being abandoned for awhile. It's the last servo before Goondiwindi. Once back in Millmerran Trav found an office for the new Captains Mountain Wind Farm. The office was closed but Trav was able to see the brochures and information on the subject - this is expected to begin next year.
Another Friday the travelling duo drove through Gatton, Rosewood where Trav read all the towns and cities both here and overseas on the sign post at the Rosewood Park. On the way to Amberley, the couple were very surprised to see a huge Airforce Plane circling the area on a training mission. The plane came very low over the car. Great for photos. Trav is interested in researching when there may be an open day at Amberley to go to in the future. It's been another very interesting and adventurous month.
Thank you, Shaz for always sharing yours and Trav's travelling adventures with us all!
When SW Karla had Trav and ventured out to the Karrara wind farm!
to everyone celebrating their birthday in August...
