Jill RAWRParticipant
RAW ing support services to our CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) community. With a strong foothold in both the refugee and migrant communities, as well as among our own Deaf community, RAWR Support Services is known for its innovative and culturally sensitive approach. We pride ourselves on thinking creatively to bridge cultural gaps and empower individuals to reach their full potential.
It is with great enthusiasm that we unveil an extension of our commitment through a collaboration between RAWR Support Services and Gwandalan Support Services! Gwandalan Support Services specialises in offering culturally appropriate support and assistance to our First Nations People. Together, we aim to synergize our expertise, leveraging our collective strengths to provide comprehensive and inclusive support services to an even broader spectrum of communities.
This collaboration represents a significant step forward in our shared mission to foster understanding, respect, and empowerment across diverse cultural landscapes. Gwandalan Support Services are just starting off and RAWR will be assisting them to get up and running. So, we truly look forward to the positive impact we can create together!

Brett Sandy
Brett Sandy, who is one half of the company, is a proud Kooma man and has real life experience with not only his mob but also delivering support services. Brett's own son has a disability and therefore knows, firsthand the challenges and navigating the NDIS.
Daniel Manley
WHO ARE THEY?
Daniel Manley is the other half of Gwandalan Support Services. Daniel has an accounting firm in Dalby and is currently President of the Dalby Diehards Rugby League Football club with strong affiliations to the local sporting community and professional sporting communities further afield. Daniel is passionate about delivering high level support services to people with disabilities within the indigenous and non-indigenous community locally and further afield.
With both directors being heavily involved within their respected communities, there is a clear understanding on our part the need for support towards sporting programmes targeted at disabled children in all communities throughout Australia. Having personal experience with a special need’ s indigenous child, we identified that there is a gap in inclusive children’ s sports programmes and Gwandalan aims to close that gap.
Our goal is to see more care provided for those people that are a part of our communities and to see them be accepted no matter what race, gender or condition they have. We want to see disabled children reach their full potential through active stimulation from these sporting programmes.
Gwandalan can also provide culturally appropriate supports to individuals with a NDIS package.

Some fun activities that are held at Gwandalan include:
Horse riding – 2 Horses at a time (not Equine Therapy)
Patting and feeding the horses
Fishing, fish feeding (with pellets watching the water explode with fish) and yabbying.
Feeding geese
Feeding chooks and collecting the eggs
Bottle feeding lambs
Budgies to be fed
WHAT THEY OFFER
They also have a "Little Kicks Support Programme" that runs from Monday to Friday. Their friendly staff are qualified with the skills and motivation to bring out your full potential with their fun activities!
Gwandalan cater to the needs of NDIS participants and aged care recipients in the Toowoomba region, South Burnett, Granite Belt, Western Downs, Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley Regions, with their expertise lying in a range of NDIS and Aged Care supports.
