Erysiphe graminis DC f. sp. tritici) in India” (Code: 24-623:TG-1504)” purely on contractual basis at ICAR- ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Regional Station, Wellington-643 23, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu.

Emoluments fixed per month Qualifications Per month Essential Qualifications: Young Professional- Rs.25,000/(Consolidated) Post Graduate in Professional Course II (one Position) [M.Sc.(Ag) in Plant Pathology or related subjects including relevant basic sciences. or Post Graduate in Basic Sciences in the subjects Genomics/Biotechnology/Botany / Microbiology) Desirable Qualifications: a. Experience in Molecular Plant Pathology/ Genomic/DNA finger printing evidenced by relevant publications. b. Proficiency in computer application in molecular / genome sequence analysis.

Terms and conditions 1. Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for men and 40 years for women (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules) 2. This post is purely temporary on contractual basis, which may be extended subject to performance of the candidates till the termination of the project.

3. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this station/ institute as the posts are co-terminus with the project.

4. The interview for eligible candidates after documents verification will be held on the same day (12th October,2018 at 11:30 A.M) in ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Wellington.

5. Reporting time for interview will commence at 09:30-10:30 AM at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Wellington. After 11:00 AM, no candidate will be entertained for reporting documents verification and interview as well.

6. The candidates need to bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all original certificates from matriculation onwards (Post graduate certificate either original or provisional), with self attested photocopies of all the required certificates.

Attested copy of recent pass port size photograph pasted onto the application form is also required.

7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

8. The eligible candidates having essential qualifications only would be entertained for the interview and concealing for facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of the candidate even after appointment.

9. The declaration annexed must be filled along with application and desired documents.

10. No objection certificate from present employer/ institution in case candidate is employment elsewhere.

11. Incomplete / unsigned applications will be summarily rejected and concerned candidates will not be entertained for interview.

12. The candidates have to strictly submit the from annexed (typed/ filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview
