Post Graduate Degree in Botany/ Environmental Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Forestry with minimum 60 % marks  Experience of field work on sampling Himalayan vegetation micro-flora / soil and nutrient analysis.  Phenocam based study of plant phenology and analysis of responses of plants to climatic variation.  Science writing and good communication skills.  Remote Sensing and GIS, Spatial Statistics, Climate modeling. Required to assist in field research in the alpine ecosystems especially to conduct assessment of soil microbial health in the Indian Himalayan Region and other project related activities Rs. 25,000 + HRA

Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules. UNDP and Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change One year WII Dehradun, with extensive traveling to alpine areas in the Indian Himalayan Region (Uttarakhand and Sikkim)
