Junior Research Fellow (FRF)/Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (one) for G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development (GBPNIHESD) (GoI) funded project entitled “Assessment, Documentation and Validation of Sustainable Traditional Management Practices with Special Emphasis on Carbon Sequestration and Livelihood Improvement in Eastern Himalaya� Qualification: M.Sc./M. Tech (Botany/Zoology/Environmental Sciences/any branch of Life Sciences/Biology) passed in Good Second Class. Willingness for extensive field-works in Eastern Himalayan terrain is highly desirable. Preference will be given to NET qualified candidate; however, non - NET candidate may attend the interview. Age: Not exceeding 28 years (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PH). Fellowship: (i) Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA/ as per rules (NET) (ii) Rs 16000 per month + HRA/ as per rules (Non-NET) This position is purely temporary and shall be on year to year basis, co-terminus with project, whichever is earlier. Selection for respective position shall not confer any right of regular appointment in the University.
