Division of Livestock Products Technology ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar 243 122 (Bareilly) UP Walk-in-Interview A “Walk-in-Interview” has been scheduled to be held at Division of Livestock Products Technology, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly (UP) on 30.05.2019 at 11.00 am for engagement of One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in MoFPI sponsored project entitled “Value added products from poultry sleeves for environmental and economical viability of poultry processing”.

The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The engagements will be liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will be no provision of absorption/ re-employment in ICAR/ ICAR-IVRI or MoFPI on termination of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and no separate letter will be issued.

Essential Qualification: MVSc in Livestock Products Technology/ Poultry Science/Animal Biochemistry/Animal Nutrition/ Veterinary Public Health or allied discipline OR M.Sc/M.Tech in Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Food Science/ Food Technology or allied discipline. NET qualification is essential for M.Sc candidates. (Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET Qualification).

Desirable: Working knowledge of analytical biochemistry, food safety, microbiology, molecular biological techniques and knowledge of computer applications (web-searching, MS-office etc).

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- PM + HRA (as per Central Govt. norms).

Age limit: 30 years (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

Duration of the Project: Likely up to Dec., 2021.
