Public Notice Punjab State AIDS Control Society invites eligible candidates for document verification of the following posts at peripheral units of PSACS purely on contract basis. The interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions & other criteria may appear in the O/o Punjab State AIDS Control Society as per the schedule given below. The reporting time will be 09.00 am to 10.00 am.

Medical Graduate (MBBS) with two years laboratory experience OR M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences.

Requisite experience:Minimum two years experience in Medical Microbiological/Immunological laboratory techniques Note: Preference would be given to candidate with experience in quality assurance

Lab. Technician (Viral Load Testing Lab, GMC, Amritsar)

B.Sc. Biotechnology/Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

Requisite experience: • 1 year experience in a molecular diagnostic laboratory for graduate in Science • 2 years experience in molecular diagnostic laboratory for those with diploma in MLT Note: Candidate with experience of working in NABL accredited or applied lab will be preferred Counselor (ICTC CH Anandpur Sahib, ART Centre GMC Patiala)

He/She should hold a Master degree in Social Rs.13,000/Work (preferably specialized in medical & per month psychiatric social work)/Sociology/Psychology//Anthropology.

If no candidate with the above qualification is available, candidates with degree in Sociology/Social Work/Psychology/Anthropology may be considered.

Qualified and competent PLHIV (People living with HIV/AIDS), if available, should be given preference while appointing counselors)

1. The interested candidates may appear for interview as per above mentioned schedule in the office of Project Director, Punjab State AIDS Control Society, Prayaas Building, Level 4th, Sector-38-B, Chandigarh.

2. Candidates must ensure to bring their resume along with original testimonials related to Qualification, Experience, Punjabi upto Matriculation, Category, Age proof etc. and one self attested photocopy of all such documents for submission.

3. The maximum age limit for the said posts is 60 years.

4. Candidates must bring 2 latest passport size photographs at the time of interview.

5. Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard.

6. For the post of Lab. Technician, degree should be from a University/Institution recognized by the central govt. or State Govt. as well as by All India Council for Technical Education, Govt. of India, NewDelhi.

The Course should have been completed as regular course as bonafide student and not by distance or correspondence mode.

7. For the post of Lab. Technician, the applicant must furnish a certificate confirming that the Diploma, graduation and post graduation course has been completed as a regular course as well as a bonafide student and not by distance or correspondence mode.

8. Any candidate is found not to be fulfilling the eligibility/selection criteria at the time of interview If or at any point of time in the entire recruitment process by the screening or selection committee, his/her candidature will be cancelled/ rejected for the said post.

9. Candidates will not be paid any TA/DA for attending the above said interview.

10. Project Director, Punjab State AIDS Control Society reserves the right to cancel/amend/change/modify the entire recruitment process at any stage without issuing any notice.
