Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held at the campus of ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad 500030 on 20.01.2020 at 10:00 A.M for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (One position) at IIMR as per the details given below.

Name of the Project DBT project on “Development of sorghum genotypes suitable for lignocellulosic biofuel production through markerassisted gene pyramiding of brown midrib genes”

Emoluments per month

Essential: Rs. 31,000 + 1. M.Sc (Ag). in Genetics & Plant HRA as per Breeding / Agrl. Biotechnology OR rules M.Sc. in Genetics / Plant Biotechnology / Plant Sciences.

2. CSIR or UGC or ARS NET qualification.

Duration Till 24 March, 2020

Desirable: Research experience in handling field experiments, field evaluation, and DNA marker analysis as evident from project work / thesis work / publications.

Terms and Conditions: 1. The above posts are purely temporary and on contractual basis till expiry of the project.

2. The age limit of above position is up to 35 years as on the date of interview. The relaxation in upper age limit is five years for SC/ST/women candidates and three years for OBC candidates as per rules.

3. The candidates shall submit Applications at the time of interview in the proforma enclosed along with a passport size photograph and a set of self attested copies of requisite mark-sheet, certificates and supporting documents.

4. Candidates have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verifications.

5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

6. Report for registration from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on the date of interview.

7. The decision of the Director, ICAR-IIMR is final and binding in all respects.

8. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment/absorption in ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad or funding agency at the end of the project.
