WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT OF POSITION FOR ONE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
Applications are invited by the undersigned from the eligible candidates for ONE post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following research project jointly sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (Govt. of India), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and Central Silk Board (CSB), Government of India. Title of the project: 1. Characterization of mulberry silkworm, Bombyx mori L mutatnts for tolerance to flacherie syndrome through genome editing tools. Duration of the project: October 2021-September 2023); TWO years till 07/10/ 2023 Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Zoology/Entomology/Life Sciences/Sericulture/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). Upper age limit: 28 years as on the date of interview (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates). Desirable qualifications for JRF •
Working knowledge in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, biochemical analysis and culturing of microorganisms.
III. Emoluments: 1. JRF: Rs.15000/- per month + HRA as per Central Silk Board (CSB) rules for initial two years.
