Essential Qualifications Ph.D. preferably with one or two years of research/ teaching experience in Packaging/ Printing/ Paper Technology/Ceramic Technology/Food Process Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Food science & Nutrition / Biotechnology/ Pharma Technology/ Polymer Science or Technology/ Mechanical Engg./ Design/ Material Science/ Nanotechnology / Microbiology / Chemical Engineering or equivalent M. Tech. /M. Sc. preferably with *NET in Packaging/ Printing/ Paper Technology/Ceramic Technology/Food Process Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Food science & Nutrition / Biotechnology/ Pharma Technology/ Polymer Science or Technology/ Mechanical Engg./ Design/ Material Science/ Nanotechnology / Microbiology / Chemical Engineering or equivalent or Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging (PGDP).

*Note: NET qualification is preferable for the stream where it is applicable.

Research Associates (RAs)/ Teaching Associate (RAs) Desirable: Training/Hands on experience on Testing & Characterization (GCMS, HPLC, DSC, XRD, FTIR etc.).

Published research papers/patent.

Age Limit for as on date of Interview RAs/ TAs: 40 years for men and 45 years for women SRF: 35 years for men and 40 years for women Consolidated Monthly Remuneration/Fellowship is as follows: SRF: Rs. 35,000/- Consolidated (including HRA) RAs/ TAs: Rs. 45,000/- Consolidated (including HRA)

Term & Conditions: 1.

The above posts are purely temporary and the candidate will not have any right for absorption in IIP for any posts. Tenure will be initially for a period of one year and may be renewable in every six months based on the satisfactory performance or as per requirement.

Candidates fulfilling the above eligible criteria are advised to be present on 06.09.2019 with original certificates, including OBC/SC/ST/PH certificates, grade card / mark sheets/ publications, two numbers of colour passport size photographs and CV, as well as a set of photo copies of all relevant documents along with application form prescribed by IIP at the time of walk-in-interview. No objection certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed elsewhere.

No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

The eligible candidate may walk-in with application in the given format.

5.

Based on number of applicants, the selection will be based on a short duration written examination along with or direct personal interview.

6.

The decision of Selection Committee will be final and binding in all aspects.

7.

Selected candidate will be informed through letter/e-mail. Those who have not selected will not be informed.

8.

No separate interview letter will be issued.
