WALK–IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF ONE PROJECT ASSISTANT & ONE FIELD WORKER MANPOWER A walk-in-interview will be conducted for filling up of temporary posts of one Project Assistant and one Field worker manpower to work in the DBT, Indo-UK partnering scheme on UKRI-GCRF-One Health Poultry Hub scheme at Poultry Disease Diagnosis and Surveillance Laboratory, Veterinary College and Research Institute Campus, Namakkal-637002.

The post is purely temporary and engaged on need basis during the existence of the project or until the need ceases, therefore whichever is earlier with the condition that the above Project Assistant/Field worker should not claim any regular employment at a later date.

Undergraduate degree in any Life Sciences course with 2 years experience in biological Laboratories is highly preferable

Salary (Consolidated)

Rs.20,000/- + HRA Per month

10th standard Pass/Fail With 2 years experience in sample Field worker One Rs.15,000/- per month collection from poultry farms and basic sample processing work. *Fresh candidates are preferred only if desired experienced candidates are not available 1. Qualified and interested candidates may appear for a written examination followed by an interview on 24.02.2020 at 10.00 am to be held at the Poultry Disease Diagnosis and Surveillance Laboratory, Veterinary College and Research Institute Campus, Namakkal637002.

2. No TA / DA will be paid for the candidates preferring to attend the interview. Candidates are to make their own arrangements for their stay at Namakkal.

3. Mere attending the interview does not guarantee them the appointment and the selection will be based purely on merit basis. Candidates are requested to produce all original certificates

(UG degrees, age proof, experience certificate, publications and any other testimonials that certify their competency to work in the project) at the time of interview.

4. The appointment is made purely on temporary basis with a condition to terminate the appointment without giving any prior notice and the candidate should not claim any university service.

5. A written test and a typing competency test would be conducted for one-hour duration.
