3. SELECTIONMETHOD

Selectionwillbeonthebasisofperformanceininterview.Incase,theresponseismore,thisCentre reservestherighttorestrictthenumberofcandidatestobecalledforinterviewbyconductingComputer BasedScreeningTestintheconcerneddisciplineonallIndiabasis.ThedecisionofthisCentreinthisregard willbefinal.

TheComputerBasedScreeningTestofonehourdurationwillbeconductedonallIndiabasisand willcompriseof40multichoicequestions(choiceof4options).‘3’markswillbeawardedforeachcorrect answerand‘1’markwillbedeductedforeachincorrectanswer.Thesyllabusforthesaidexaminationwillbe basedonsubjectsatDiploma/B.Sc.levelasthecasemaybe.ThosecandidatesqualifyingintheScreening Testshallbeshortlistedforinterview.Thevenueofinterviewwillbeintimatedlater.

Finalselectionwillbeonthebasisofperformanceofthecandidateininterviewand noweightage willbegivenformarksscoredintheScreeningTest.ThedecisionofthisCentreinthisregardwillbefinal.

4. HOWTOAPPLY

4.2 Candidates who have not acquired the mandatory / requisite educational qualification as on the closing date for receipt of on-line application need not apply. No correspondence or clarification will be entertainedonthismatter.

4.3 Candidate should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully beforemakinganyentryorselectinganyoption.

7.3 IfPhotoIdentityCarddoesnothavethedateofbirthprintedonit,thenthecandidatemustcarryan additionaloriginaldocument(e.g.MatriculationCertificate,MarksSheetissuedonlybyCBSE/ICSE/State Boards; Birth Certificate) in proof of their date of birth. 8. DOCUMENTVERIFICATION(DV)

8.1 Candidateswouldberequiredtoproducealltherelevantfollowingcertificatesinoriginalalongwith theircopiesandprintoutofonlineapplicationatthetimeofdocumentverificationpriortoInterview/SkillTest. Thecandidateswillbesolelyresponsibleforfurnishingtherequisitecertificates,failingwhichtheircandidature shallbesummarilyrejected.Candidatesmayalsonotethattheircandidaturewillremainprovisionaltillthe verificationofveracityofthedocumentsbytheAppointingAuthority.

(a) Educationalqualificationssupportedbyappropriatemarksheets/certificatesasproofofpossessing theminimumeducationalqualificationasontheclosingdate,failingwhichthecandidatureofsuch candidatewillbecancelled.

(b) ValidproofofDateofbirth(Matriculation/SecondarySchoolCertificate).

(d) OBCcandidates’castecertificateshouldbeissuedbyanauthorisedauthorityintheprescribedformat withnon-creamylayercertificate(AnnexureB)andthecaste/communityshouldhavebeenincluded intheCentrallistsofOtherBackwardCaste.ThecrucialdatefordeterminingtheOBCnon-creamy layercertificatewillbetheclosingdateofon-lineapplication.

(e) OBCforthepurposeofAGERELAXATIONANDRESERVATIONmeans“personsofOBCcategories notbelongingtotheCreamyLayer”asdefinedinGovernmentofIndia,DepartmentofPersonnel& Training OM No.36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08.09.93 and modified vide Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 09/3/2004, OM No. 36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res.)dated14/10/2008,OMNo.36033/1/2013-Estt(Res.)dated 27/05/2013and latest modification vide Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training OM No. 36033/1/2013-Estt(Res.)dated13/09/2017.

(f) CandidateswhoarenotcoveredundertheschemeofreservationforSC/ST/OBCandwhosefamily grossannualincomeisbelowRs.8Lakh(RupeesEightLakh)aretobeidentifiedasEWSforbenefit ofreservationforEWS.Theincomeshallalsoincludeincomefromallsourcesi.e.salary,agriculture, business,professionetc.forthefinancialyearpriortotheyearofapplicationinaccordancewithDoPT OMNo.36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res)dated31/01/2019,11/06/2019andNo.43011/11/2022-Estt.(Res-II) dated 19/09/2022. The Income and Asset Certificate issued in the prescribed format as given in AnnexureC shallonlybeacceptedasproofofcandidate’sclaimasbelongingtoEWS.

(g) DisabilityCertificatefromtheappropriateauthorityregardingphysicaldisability(aspertheformats givenin AnnexureD&E -applicableonlyforPersonswithDisability)

(i) Accordingtothepersonswithdisabilities(EqualOpportunities,ProtectionofRightsandFull Participation)Rules,1996notifiedon31/12/1996bytheCentralGovernmentinexerciseof thepowersconferredbysub-section(1)and(2)ofSection73ofthePersonswithDisabilities (EqualOpportunities,Protection of RightsandFullParticipation)Act, 1995(1of 1996)], a disabilitycertificateshallbeissuedbyaMedicalBoarddulyconstitutedbytheCentralora StateGovernment. TheCentral/StateGovernmentmayconstituteaMedicalBoardconsisting ofatleastthreemembers,outofwhich,atleast,onemembershallbeaSpecialistfromthe relevantfield.

(ii) Thecertificatewouldbevalidforaperiodof5yearsforthosewhosedisabilityistemporary. The Medical Board shall indicate the period of validity of the certificate where there are chancesofvariationinthedegreeofdisability.Forthosewhoacquiredpermanentdisability, thevaliditycanbeshownaspermanent. Onrepresentationbytheapplicant,theMedical Boardmayreviewitsdecisionhavingregardtoallthefactsandcircumstancesofthecase andpasssuchordersinthematterasitthinksfit.

(h) Incaseofpersonswithbenchmarkdisabilitiesinthecategoryofblindness(lowvision),thefacilityof scribe is provided, if desired by the candidate. In case of remaining categories of persons with benchmarkdisabilities,theprovisionofscribewillbeavailableonproductionofacertificateatthetime ofexaminationtotheeffectthatthepersonconcernedhasphysicallimitationtowrite,andscribeis essentialtowriteexaminationoncandidate’sbehalf,fromtheChiefMedicalOfficer/CivilSurgeon/ MedicalSuperintendentofaGovernmenthealthcareinstitutionasperproformaat AnnexureF

(i) EngagementofScribewillbesubjecttothefollowingconditions:

(i) Candidateswillhavetoarrangeforthescribeontheirown.

(ii) The scribesoarrangedshouldnot himself/herself bethe candidate for post / vacancies / examforwhichthecandidateisappearing.Alsosamescribeshouldnotbeengagedformore thanonecandidate.Thescribeandthecandidateshallgiveadeclarationtothiseffect.Any violation,ifdetectedatanystagewillrenderboththecandidate&theScribedisqualified.

(iii) Candidateswithdisabilitieswhicharenotidentifiedaseligibleforconcessionarenotallowed tohavescribe.

(iv) Incasethecandidateoptsforhis/herownscribe,thequalificationofthescribeshouldbeone step below the qualification of the candidate taking the examination. The candidates with benchmarkdisabilitiesoptingforownscribeshallberequiredtosubmitdetails oftheown scribeatthetimeofexaminationasperproformaat .Inaddition,thescribehas toproduceavalidIDproofinoriginalatthetimeofexamination.AphotocopyoftheIDproof of the scribe signed by the candidate as well as the scribe will be submitted along with proformaat AnnexureG.If,subsequentlyitisfoundthatthequalificationofthescribeisnot as declaredbythecandidate,thenthecandidateshallforfeithis/herrighttothepostand claimsrelatingthereto.

(v) Candidatesoptingforscribewillhavetoprovidedetailsofscribeasper AnnexureG which shouldbesignedbybothcandidateandscribeatthetimeofexam.Scribeshouldproduce originalvalidIDproofatexamcentre,andpastepassportsizephotographon AnnexureG

(vi) Thepersonswithbenchmarkdisabilitieswhoareallowedtotakeexaminationoncomputer system,areallowedtocheckthecomputersystemonedayinadvancesothattheproblems, ifanyinthesoftware/systemcouldberectified.Useofowncomputer/laptopisnotallowedfor taking examination. However, enabling accessories for the computer based examinations suchaskeyboard,customizedmouseetc.isallowed

(vii) Thecandidateshallberesponsibleforanymisconductonthepartofthescribebroughtby him/herduringtheexamination.

(j) Acompensatorytimeof 20minutes per hour of examinationwillbeprovidedtothe Persons with BenchmarkDisability.

(k) NoattendantotherthanthescribeforeligiblecandidateswillbeallowedinsidetheExaminationHall.

(l) ThePwBDcandidateswhohaveavailedthefacilityofscribes/passagereaderand/orcompensatory timemustproducerelevantdocumentsfortheeligibilityofscribe/compensatorytimeatthetimeof DocumentVerification.Failuretoproducesuchsupportingdocumentswillleadtocancellationoftheir candidaturefortheexamination.

11. INDUCTION TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR CATEGORY-I STIPENDIARY TRAINEE & CATEGORY-IISTIPENDIARYTRAINEE

11.1 ScopeandperiodofTraining

Selectedcandidateswillbegiven atvariousDAEUnitssituatedacrossthecountry as per requirements in various aspects of relevant disciplines / trades, as per prescribed syllabi of each discipline/tradeandformeetingstringentrequirementsoftheDepartment.Thecandidateswillnothaveany choice/optionforanyparticulartrainingprogramme/trainingplace.

11.2 GradeafterSuccessfulCompletionofTraining

Upon successful completion of training, trainees will be considered for absorption in the following gradeatthetimeofappointmentdependingontheirperformanceduringtheperiodoftrainingandinterviewto beheldattheendofthetraining.

11.3 Bond

Selectedcandidateswillhavetoexecuteabondtocompletethetrainingandtoserveconstituent UnitsofDAEforaperiodof3yearsafterabsorption.Atraineewhofailstocompletethetrainingor/andserve the Departmentfor 3 years afterabsorption, willbe liable topaytotheGovernment asum equivalent to aggregateamountofstipendandbookallowancereceivedbyhim/herduringtheperiodoftrainingalongwith interestthereon.

12. GENERALCONDITIONS

(a) Thevacanciesareprovisionalandsubjecttovariation.Departmentreservestherighttofillupthepost oreventocancel/restrict/modify/alterthewholeprocessofrecruitmentwithoutissuinganyfurther noticeorassigninganyreasonthereof.
