The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging ‘UGC-JRF’ or ‘CSIR-UGC-JRF’ qualified ‘Junior Research Fellow’ for Project entitled “Wildlife Forensic and Conservation Genetics (WFCG) Cell”. The EQ, DQ and other details of the position is as provided below :

Forensic Science. The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in M.Sc. Biotechnology or Forensic Science are eligible for joining JRF. AND 2. Candidate should have a valid UGC-JRF or CSIRUGC-JRF fellowship. Preference will be given to the candidate having working knowledge in the Genetic or Forensic laboratory To pursue research in the field of ‘Wildlife Forensics’ and to assist in the ongoing activities of WFCG Cell of the institute Till the fellowship support from the UGC or CSIR

28 years (upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules)
