Applications are invited for the position of Technician/Technical officer in the Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences at Shiv Nadar University to operate and maintain the confocal laser scanning microscope. Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in any branch of natural sciences with prior expertise in operation of epifluorescence or confocal microscope. Job description: The technician/technical officer is expected to help the students and faculty in imaging experiments on the confocal microscope. The person is supposed to operate, maintain and manage the usage of the microscope and would be responsible for its smooth functioning. It is desirable for the person to analyze and interpret the results and assist students in data analysis and data transfer. Salary: Will be fixed according to educational qualification and previous experience as per norms of the university.
