Dated:17-04-2021 WALK-IN-INTERVIEW Applications are invited for one post of Research Associate and one post of multi-tasking worker in an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project titled “Study of hyaline non-sporulating moulds isolated from clinical

samples of tertiary care respiratory hospital in Delhi, India” This post is purely on contract basis.

1. Research Associate (one post) Essential Qualification i) PhD/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree in Microbiology

OR M.Sc. in Microbiology/Bio-technology from recognized institution/ university with 3 years of Work experience of research/teaching and design & development experience with atleast one research paper in citation indexed journal

Desirable Qualification : Experience of working in Mycology techniques including sample processing, culture methodology, media preparation, drug susceptibility testing, computer knowledge with extensive use of MS office, statistics, scientific writing , patient interaction Age limit

: 40years.

Emoluments

: Consolidated Rs. 47000/- per month + HRA ( @ 24%)

2. Multi-tasking Staff (one post) Essential Qualification High School completed Desirable Qualification : Experience of working in Clinical Laboratory set-up including washing of glassware, peon work, ability to read instructions/ names in English, other work Age limit

: 25years.

Emoluments

: Consolidated Rs. 15800/- per month

Terms and Conditions:

1. This engagement is purely contractual and co-terminable with the project.

2. The engagement will be for a period of six months initially only. It can be extended only based on satisfactory performance of the candidate. Extension would be 6 monthly till the project ends ( 3 years) whichever is earlier from the date of joining.

3. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment.

4. In case of unsatisfactory performance of the candidate, the contract can be terminated by the Institute at any time by giving one month notice period or immediately by paying one month remuneration in lieu of the notice period 5. The candidate will be required to work full-time in the project 6. Details of admissible leaves during contract period, only two and half casual leaves admissible per month, no other kind of leave will be admissible including maternity leave, earned leave, medical leave, study leave etc 7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

8. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.

9. Residential accommodation in the institute campus will not be provided.

10. No HRA will be paid ( For MTS staff) 11. All COVID precautions to be observed strictly. Any candidate found not following the COVID-19 precautions will be debarred from the Interview.
