One Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Field cum lab Assistant under the Project "Effect of novel fertilizer formulations on productivity, biofortification and nutrient-use efficiency of major cereal rotations" will be recruited at Division of Agronomy, ICAR IARI, New Delhi 110 012
The eligible candidates are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma along with self attested scanned copy of the original documents to the concerned PI’s e mail address as given below latest by October 21, 2022. Candidates who will not be able to produce the essential qualification degree certificates will not be eligible to attend the interview.
After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed about the details of online interview (Date and Time) by email. Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Essential: Master’s degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Postgraduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014 HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z 09/2018 of DST dated, 30th January 2019 for eligibility.
Desirable:
i.Doctoral degree in Agriculture and allied Agricultural Sciences. ii.Knowledge in computer applications, data organization/ management, skills of statistical analysis using SAS/SPSS/ R software
iii.Research experience of conducting field experiments as evident from published research papers

Emoluments: INR 18,000 per month consolidated

Terms and conditions apply:
1. Both the positions are purely contractual, non regular, co terminus with the project, and will be offered up to 30.04.2024 or up to the termination of the project.
2. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this institute or in ICAR. Non maintenance of the discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties will make the JRF liable for terminationduring the appointment periodas per ICAR rules.
3. Maximum age limit: For the JRF position 35 years for male and 40 years for female Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR Rules.
4. Candidates should e mail their duly signed complete bio data and scanned self attested copies of the original documents (marksheet from Class X onward; experience certificate; no objection certificate from their current employer etc.) latest by 21.10.2022. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. Only shortlisted candidates will contacted for the interview through email.
5. The interview of shortlisted/eligible candidates will be held online on November 7, 2022 at 10.00 AM onwards at the Division of Agronomy, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
6. Candidates whose near/ distant relative(s) is an employee of the ICAR/IARI has to declare it as per the format (undertaking) given below. Candidates having no near/ distant relative(s) working at ICAR/ IARI will also furnish the declaration. These declarations must be emailed to ram.bana@icar.gov.in (Principal Investigator of the Project) along with the application form latest by 21.10.2022. If communicated or declared on the date of interview, candidate will not be interviewed.

10. The project field trials are multi location in nature. Therefore, the candidates who are willing to travel frequently will be given preference.
