Responsibilities
● AnalyzeandmanagetheNGS/Nanoporedatausingrelevantpipelines
● DevelopcustomizedpipelinesandworkflowsandtweakcurrentpipelinefiltersforNGSand Nanoporeanalysis
● Helpindevelopingandexecutingvariousdatamanagementstrategies
● Identifythedatabases,tools,catalogs,andtheirreliabilityinfutureandhelptheresearchteamin datacollectionstrategies
● Interpretgeneticsequencevariationsidentifiedthroughthepipelines
● Checkqualityandaccuracyofthedata
● Workinconjunctionwithteammemberstoensureconsistentresultgeneration
● Workinconjunctionwithwetlabandtechteamstoensuresmoothoperationsanddevelopment work
● Troubleshootissuesrelatedtodataanalysistoolsandsoftware
● ReviewliteraturefornewtechnologiesinthefieldofBioinformatics
● Writegrantsandpapersinthecompany
● Creatingdocumentationandmaintainingit
Requirement
● Workedingenomicsfor4+years Soundknowledgeaboutgeneticsandgenomics
● ExperiencewithbuildingbioinformaticspipelinesforNGSdata
● Performbasicstatisticalanalysis
● ComfortableworkingonLinuxOSsystem
● Abilitytoread,interpretandcuratescientificliterature
● Excellentcommunicationskills(oralandwritten)andattentiontodetail
● Abilitytolearnnewtechniques,performmultipletaskssimultaneously,keepaccuraterecords, followinstructions,completedeadlines,andcomplywithcompanypolicies
● Experienceof3-5yrs+inR/Python&experienceof1-2yrs+inBashscripting
