Advertisement for the Position of Junior Research Fellow Advt. No. 01/2019 - SERB Project Ref. ECR/2017/002914 dt.08.05.2018 & 14.11.2018 Applications are invited for ONE position of Junior Research Fellow for the SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD sponsored project “Lipid Modification in Oilseed crop using ∆6Des and ∆5Des from Microalgae: A Focus towards Omega 3/6 Fatty acid Production”. The appointment is temporary and selection is purely on merit basis. The tenure of the position is up to the completion of the project period.

Essential qualification: M.Sc., in Botany / Biotechnology / Genomics / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Plant Sciences or any other Life Sciences* with research experience in Plant tissue culture, Plant Genetic Transformation and Metabolic regulation.

* Research/Project work must be in Plants Desirable qualification: NET qualified candidates in the respective subjects from UGC/CSIR/ICAR and also those who have previous research experience relevant field.

Emoluments : Rs.25,000 per month with admissible HRA as per university regulations Five Copies of filled application in the attached format with all attested copies of mark sheets with all relevant certificates should be sent to Dr. S.
