ManipalAcademy ofHigherEducation (MAHE), Manipal,invitesapplicationsfor the following positions for the DST Nanomission funded research project titled “Point of use sensors for rapid detection and differentiation of bacteria and virus in water and clinical specimen” at the Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College(KMC), Manipal and the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, ManipalInstitute of Technology (MIT), Manipal.
Eligibility: M.Tech in Instrumentation/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Engineering or M.Sc in Biochemistry/ BioPhysics/ Biotechnology or related. GATE/NET qualified candidatesshall be preferred.

Knowledgedomainrequired: Applicants shouldhaveaworking knowledge on either of the following: analytical instrumentation/ optical sensors/ electronics/ biotechnology/ biochemistry
Job description: The job would require integration of electronics, nanotechnologies and conjugation chemistries for sensor development
