Walk-in-Interview for the position of one Research Associate (RA) and One Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against position on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. RA 01 (One) Rs.38, 000/per month + HRA for Master Degree Holders.

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree in any one of the following discipline/subject, Animal Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular biology/Bioinformatics.

OR Master Degree in any one of the following discipline/subject, Animal Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular biology/Bioinformatics with 4 years/5years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1 st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate-ship /Training/other engagements in the relevant area.

For Doctoral Degree Holder Rs.40000/HRA per month.

HRA will be provided if Govt. accommodati on is not provided ( as per ICAR guidelines)

Desirable Qualification : Research Experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, nucleic acids isolation and purifications and qPCR. The experience should be supported with published research papers in International reputed Journals.

Project Titled “Targeted SRF immobilization of Y01(One) bearing spermatozoa Rs.25,000/and modulation of +HRA per oviduct milieu for month for skewing sex ratio first two towards female years and offspring in dairy Rs.28,000/- + cattle” under Dr. A HRA per Kumaresan, Principal month for Scientist & PI, LRC, third year.

ICAR-NDRI, SRS, HRA will be Adugodi, Bengaluru provided if Govt. accommodati on is not provided (as per ICAR guidelines)

Mater Degree in any one of the following discipline/subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree.

Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualifications.

Preferred subjects: Animal Reproduction, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Animal Biotechnology, Molecular biology.

Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in the field of cell culture, western blotting, flow cytometry, nucleic acids isolation and purifications and qPCR.

Age Limit: 1) 40 Years for Men and 45 years for Women in case of RA on the date of interview.

2) 35 years for Men and 40 Years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.

(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC & Women candidates as per GOI/ICAR rules) The above position is purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is coterminus with the Project/Scheme. Eligible and interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the date as indicated against project/scheme along with original certificates, experience certificate in the relevant area and Research Publication and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each certificates along with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.

Note: (1) Those candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization should bring “No Objection Certificate” from his present employer.

(2) On the date of Walk-In-Interview required Certificates should be produced.

(3) The experience in the relevant area will be counted after acquiring the basic minimum Qualifications.
