One RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA-I) position is available in the Omics of Algae Group (GOA) and DBT-ICGEB Centre for Advanced Bioenergy Research, ICGEB, New Delhi. The position is available initially till March 2022 with further extensions based upon performance. Title of the project: “Engineering of Microalgae for production of Biorenewables without compromising Biomass”, funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI, New Delhi, India. Educational qualifications (as per DBT guidelines): Required qualifications and experience for RA-I: 1. Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or any other relevant field. 2. Experience of handling algal strains is mandatory, and knowledge in omics biology. Candidates with prior research experience in analytical instrumentation like GC-MS/LC-MS, bioinformatics, genetic engineering will be preferred.
