Educational Qualifications: Senior Research Fellow (Project): M.Sc. (Bioinformatics/Biophysics/Biotechnology or any other stream of biological/physical sciences) with NET or B.Tech. (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/IT) with NET or M.Tech. (Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Computational Sciences) or M. Pharm and at least 2 years of research experience. Desirable Qualifications: Prediction and analysis of Protein structure and Protein-
Protein interactions (PPI), Docking and MD simulations, inhibitor design, development of bioinformatics tools and software’s for structure based analysis of PPI. OR Development of databases and software’s for genome analysis, installation/support of public domain software’s for structural bioinformatics in LINUX environment and system administration of computing/storage servers of Bioinformatics Canter, NII. The candidates must highlight their experience in programming and database development in their CV. Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per DST OM dated 30.01.2019. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for. Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees.
