Project Fellow 01 First Class Master’s degree in Botany/Environmental Science/Wildlife Science/Marine Biology/Life sciences or allied disciplines. Minimum one-year experience of field research on plant ecology or inter-tidal ecology Knowledge of GIS and Data analysis in R statistics Skills in scientific communication proven by publication(s) in peer reviewed journal Enthusiasm to work in remote islands of Andaman & Nicobar Work involves extensive travel and data collection in the Andaman & Nicobar islands on coastal vegetation & associated fauna Candidate will conduct field research, data collection, data analysis and preparation of scientific papers Candidate will have to be physically fit and mentally prepared to work in the inter-tidal mud flats of remote islands with limited logistics 1 year (extendable up to 3 years depending upon the performance of the candidate) Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated) Department of Science and Technology, India.
