For display in the University Web site Applications are invited from highly motivated and dynamic eligible candidates fora position of Project Assistant to work in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, funded sponsored research project File No. SRG/2019/000778 entitled 'Light Assisted Selective Oxidation of Plant Biomass with Rational Design of Confined Metal Oxide/Nitride Based Photocatalyst'. The research is to synthesize nanomaterials for photocatalytic conversion of plant biomass. Principal Investigator: Dr. Astam Kumar Patra, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Kalyani, Kalyani-741235. Name of Position: Project Assistant, One (01). Amount of Fellowships: As per DST-SERB rules. Duration of fellowship: 2 years Essential Qualification: As per DST-SERB rules. Desirable Qualification: Candidate should be M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 50% marks and should be admit in Ph D program. (No NET/GATE is required). Age limit: As per DST-SERB rules.
