Walk-in-interview for Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited on plain paper from the interested eligible candidates for a post of Junior Research Fellow (One Position) on purely temporary basis in a time bound research project funded by Department of Science and Technology – Materials for Energy Conversion and Storage Platform (DST-MECSP), Government of India.
1. Name of Position : Junior Research Fellow: 1 (One)
2. Duration : 1 Year (or Coterminous on completion of Project)
3. Stipend : Rs. 25,000/- per month (fixed)
4. Qualifications : M Sc (Chemistry) or M. Tech (Green Energy Technology).
In addition, should have selected through a process described any of the following:
(a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE or
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
Desirables: At least one year research experience on Battery/Electrochemistry/Nanomaterials will be preferred.
5. Name of project : "DST-IISc Energy Storage Platform on Supercapacitors." (Development of High-Performance Air-breathing Electrode for Lithium-Air and Sodium-Air Batteries).
